He leaned in and said a few words, which seemed to trigger Alaric before he turned around to leave.
Ezra and his goons walked out of the hallroom afterwards and things returned back to normal.
My eyes went over to Alaric and he seemed to be holding his anger as his jaw were clenched together and his fist folded into a punch.
Ezra must have definitely said something to annoy him.
Ezra and Alaric don't easily get along with each other. It is one of the few reasons everyone were cautious as he moved to speak with Alaric.
Ezra was the contrast of Alaric.
A loud boastful individual with the ego twice the size of our pack. Everything Ezra stands for I hated.
We had shared encounters and they weren't pleasant. I was happy knowing we weren't in the same Pack because it could have been a genuine problem.
