After settling everything, Satori Hyūga began his journey back home.
This time he didn't take an airplane but chose to walk instead, treating it as a travel plan.
That had been his original intention all along. Now that he possessed great power, he might as well tour the entire world and witness the landscapes of different countries firsthand.
Back then, he would have felt afraid, but now, he simply believed he could walk wherever he pleased across this world.
Passing through the Land of Earth, he entered the Land of Bears, then the Land of Birds, finally arriving at the Land of Rain.
Along the way, he experienced many things, visited numerous places, and immersed himself in their diverse local cultures.
It was quite interesting, though somewhat primitive.
The closer he approached the Land of Fire and Konoha, the more frequently Satori encountered products and businesses he established, as well as those originating from Konoha's factories.
It wasn't only Danzō's Root division—many other ninja clans had also begun establishing business ventures, some even expanding overseas.
As a result of these developments, factories began springing up one after another, allowing capitalist ideas in their infancy to flourish rapidly.
Motivated by profit, the lower-class populace gradually found employment, and life steadily improved for them.
Although modern machinery was still scarce, such devices were slowly making their way into households, nudging society toward the modern era.
"No wonder it's all thanks to me secretly driving the shift of this era. If we'd waited for natural progression, who knows how long it would've taken."
Judging from the plot development originally described, similar conditions wouldn't have appeared until the Third Great Shinobi War.
Yet at this moment, Satori suddenly thought of another matter.
"I'm supposed to be a proletarian disciple—I can't just let capitalism dominate the world. I should do something about this."
Seeing the future where the poor became poorer while the rich grew richer, Satori felt a growing desire to reshape the world.
He entered the Land of Rain, where dark clouds loomed low over the sky and rain fell incessantly.
Patrols and guards were stationed in every town. An urgent, tense atmosphere pervaded.
Satori stepped into a tavern to gather information.
After scanning the area, he eventually approached a drinking ninja seated at the bar.
He ordered a drink and handed it to the ordinary-looking shinobi.
"Hey there, my treat for you."
The ninja glanced up at Satori, eyes flickering with caution.
To him, Satori—who was using Transformation Jutsu—appeared to be nothing more than an outsider merchant.
Smiling in an innocent, friendly manner, Satori said, "No worries. I'm just a traveling merchant from far away. Thought I'd find someone to ask what's been going on lately in the Land of Rain."
"Since arriving in this small town, I've seen several patrols of soldiers and ninjas. Did something happen?"
Hearing that Satori only wanted general information and simple answers, the ninja relaxed slightly.
He took a sip of his drink and muttered quietly, "Something did happen in the Land of Rain, but it has nothing to do with outsiders like you merchants."
"This country once had an organization called Akatsuki, but because they opposed the government and Sanshouo Hanzo, they were labeled as rebels."
"They've been spreading malicious rumors and sabotaging factories after being declared wanted, in an effort to destabilize Rain's economy. These patrols and guards are all set up to capture them."
"You're saying there are actually people reckless enough to pull off something like that?" said Satori Hyūga with an expression of shock.
"But Rain has the Semi-Immortal watching over it. Could the leader of Akatsuki really be that strong?"
The ninja shook his head, showing a look of disdain.
"The leader of Akatsuki certainly can't rival the Semi-Immortal. He was already captured by the Semi-Immortal and thrown into prison along with his subordinates."
"The current members of Akatsuki are now recklessly causing destruction across Rain in a desperate attempt to rescue him."
Satori nodded as he murmured thoughtfully, "I see."
"You really startled me for a moment. I almost thought another war was about to begin."
His eyes flickered with thoughts, organizing and analyzing the information he had gathered.
There must be both truths and lies in this story; not everything could be trusted.
Yahiko? That idealistic fool who always talks about peace and understanding, trying to talk everyone into abandoning their hatred to build a peaceful world?
Accusing him of sabotaging Rain's economy and peace? Satori couldn't possibly believe that.
However, he absolutely believed that Akatsuki wanted to rescue Yahiko.
The plot had taken a turn—he wasn't dead, just captured. That caught Satori off guard a little.
If Yahiko wasn't dead, how would Nagato descend into darkness and bear the burden alone, like carrying a sack of rice up several flights of stairs?
But considering the timeline didn't quite line up, Satori quickly accepted this new reality.
Guess I'm just in the right place at the right time.
After paying for his drink, he quietly infiltrated the local police station.
Shige Hidehiko was drinking tea in his office when he suddenly noticed a stranger standing inside. Immediately, he jumped in surprise.
He quickly stood up, grabbing a kunai from his belt, aiming directly at Satori Hyūga.
"Dare you enter here! Who are you?"
He was a seasoned Chunin—if someone got this close without being noticed, they were clearly a formidable opponent.
He shouted, hoping to alert his men in the next room.
Yet after waiting for a moment, no one came to help.
Satori smiled lightly, saying, "Don't worry. I've sealed off this space. No one will hear anything."
His mind racing, Hidehiko stared daggers at Satori Hyūga.
"Are you part of Akatsuki?"
"No, no, definitely not. I'm just here gathering information on them. Of course, it'll be easier if I directly read your memories."
[Tenseigan] A jet-black eye pulsed with an eerie glow as its spiritual energy flooded the other's mind.
Instantly, every memory—from his first cry at birth to his rise as a seasoned Chunin—flooded Satori Hyūga's mind.
He could relive them from start to finish if he chose to.
But Satori only sifted through recent events, searching specifically for anything related to Akatsuki.
From his memories, Satori saw that after the Semi-Immortal issued the order, Akatsuki was branded an evil organization, and many internal members fled.
The leader of Akatsuki, Yahiko, refused to back down, still tried to reason with Semi-Immortal Sanshouo Hanzo.
Why did the Semi-Immortal have so much time? He immediately dispatched his subordinates to capture Yahiko, that naïve fool.
Later, the remaining two leaders of the Akatsuki organization led their men in constant harassment and attacks on the prison, trying every means to rescue Yahiko.
Unfortunately, the attempt failed and only served to enrage the Semi-Immortal, who issued an arrest order across the Land of Rain.
Indeed, it was an arrest order—not a kill order.
The reason was because Fire's Root Factory had offered a huge reward: a generous sum of money would be paid for any rogue ninja delivered alive to work there.
Many Akatsuki members were captured for the sake of the bounty but surprisingly survived.
