After sifting through over half a year's worth of information, Satori Hyūga found himself lost in thought—Yahiko truly had remarkable luck to have survived.
Perhaps it was precisely because of that luck he survived instead of dying, ending up imprisoned, or even continuing his activities even from within it.
At the time, however, the Akatsuki had not yet drawn the fear of Hanzō of the Salamander or the attention of Danzō.
To those two figures, the group seemed no more than a small gathering of idealistic youths attempting to resist the black-market factories.
Unfortunately, they were too naïve and were betrayed by both the factories and the upper echelons of the nation, opening their eyes to the darkness of the world.
Within this man's mind, Satori Hyūga uncovered the names of villages where Akatsuki members often appeared. After erasing his memories, he turned around and left.
Following the clues, Satori soon arrived at a village known as Amegakure.
This village was rumored to be frequently visited by Akatsuki members, though no one had ever managed to catch sight of them.
But for Satori, hiding from him was impossible. No matter how skilled Akatsuki members were at evasion, they could not escape the observational advantage of his jet-black Tenseigan.
Floating midair, his jet-black Tenseigan swept the landscape below with piercing clarity.
Since evolving into the Tenseigan, the eyes' observational power had become downright oppressive—capable of gazing into the heavens and piercing through the earth below.
Every detail within his gaze became crystal clear.
Be they ordinary villagers or hidden ninja, none could escape Satori's divine sight.
Satori slowly shifted his gaze left and right. In an instant, he spotted several ninjas hiding within Amegakure.
However, he simply observed, making no immediate move to apprehend them.
The reason? He discovered something far more important—White Zetsu.
It was hiding underground, secretly monitoring the village using secret techniques.
Inside an underground cave,
one unusual White Zetsu, with brown-yellow pupils, gazed up at the Akatsuki members on the surface and chuckled foolishly.
"What are you smiling about?"
"Why, I'm just laughing…" White Zetsu began speaking before abruptly halting and spinning around in shock.
He hadn't expected someone to silently sneak so close while underground—it was utterly ridiculous.
"Who are you?" White Zetsu asked Satori, showing no fear whatsoever. Instead, he scratched his head with a blank expression.
Satori smiled, "Me? I'm here to take you. Come with me—we have a few little experiments in store."
"No, no, I need to go home."
Hearing the word "experiment," White Zetsu immediately waved his hands in refusal.
Instantly, he performed the Kagerō no Jutsu, fusing his body with the earth and vegetation before launching into high-speed movement.
His speed was incredible—in an instant, he had moved thousands of meters—but Satori moved just as fast.
Thanks to his Tenseigan's extraordinary perception, he followed closely behind, never losing track.
No matter where White Zetsu fled, Satori saw him clearly.
Back and forth, he began noticing many other White Zetsu hiding across the Land of Rain.
"So Madara Uchiha and Black Zetsu have been quietly watching over Nagato—their pawn all along."
Soaring through the sky, Satori raised his hand and activated Black Hole Space, capturing several unsuspecting White Zetsu.
Once he had captured five or six, Satori finally caught the very first White Zetsu who had attempted to flee.
What use is [Kagerō no Jutsu]? Before Satori Hyūga's Tenseigan, it's all mere drifting clouds.
White Zetsu wasn't particularly strong. In Satori Hyūga's hands, he stood no chance of resistance.
"Time to end this."
Satori Hyūga clapped his hands and made his way back to Amegakure, heading straight toward the place where ninjas gathered.
The moment he walked in, with just a single glance, he seized the willpower of several individuals present.
He then manipulated their minds, turning them into his thralls.
With this seamless combo, those present quickly turned against the Akatsuki and pledged loyalty to Satori.
When questioned by Satori, they revealed themselves as indeed members of the Akatsuki organization.
However, they were only low-ranking operatives assigned to gather intelligence and supplies for the organization.
The actual members of Akatsuki had already retreated deep into the mountains, hiding away and eagerly awaiting the perfect moment to rescue Yahiko.
Guided by the captives, Satori successfully reached the meeting location set by the Akatsuki.
With one glance after another, Satori instantly discerned the Akatsuki's current hideout.
After acquiring the necessary intelligence, Satori rushed rapidly toward a hidden cave.
Under the power of his Dojutsu, Satori immediately spotted dozens of people hiding inside the cave.
The cave was hidden beneath a Genjutsu, invisible to ordinary eyes—yet to Satori, it was merely a joke.
He dashed inside in the blink of an eye.
Upon entering, Satori ignored the petrified Akatsuki members and instead leapt toward the individual within the cave who possessed the largest chakra reserves.
Dense waves of chakra radiated from that person like a blazing bonfire—so intense and unmistakable.
It was none other than Nagato, the one blessed with the Uzumaki bloodline, and also the wielder of the Rinnegan.
"Who are you?"
At this point, Nagato's Rinnegan had yet to fully awaken, so he couldn't tap into its full power.
Still, he raised his hand and fired a Repulsive Force toward Satori through his Rinnegan.
Unshaken, Satori met his gaze and raised his own hand in response.
The clash between Tenseigan and Rinnegan immediately caused violent tremors and upheaval throughout the cave.
In the end, Satori proved superior. His fully evolved Tenseigan unleashed an unmatched force that sent Nagato crashing to the ground.
A powerful wave of repulsion hurled Nagato backward, slamming him into the cave wall.
Nagato gasped in pain, struggling to rise, staring at Satori with alarm.
Looking upon this mysterious stranger who appeared out of nowhere, his Rinnegan stirred with a strange and inexplicable sensation.
It felt both like a blood connection and simultaneously like facing an equal in strength.
"Nagato! Are you okay?"
Upon hearing the commotion, Konan rushed forward, her body unleashing countless sheets of white paper hurtling toward Satori.
Confronting the storm of paper, Satori simply waved his hand, sending all of them recoiling effortlessly.
His attraction and repulsion techniques were simply too convenient.
They countered nearly every Ninjutsu and repelled nearly every attack.
Seeing the paper recoiling toward her, Konan hesitated slightly.
She had momentarily thought it might be Nagato himself employing such a familiar technique.
But upon closer inspection, she realized it was an enemy intruder imitating Nagato's identical technique.
"Konan, run away! You can't beat him!"
Nagato struggled to his feet and charged at Satori Hyūga again, trying to buy Konan a chance to escape.
He fully understood how powerful their enemy was—far beyond the Akatsuki's current strength.
But how could Konan possibly abandon her comrade? Without hesitation, she transformed countless sheets of white paper, launching another fierce attack as she charged at Satori Hyūga.
Facing her desperate assault, Satori remained completely unfazed.
With a casual slap, he swatted Nagato aside as easily as swatting a fly. Then with another palm strike, he sent Konan flying through the air.
The so-called god and angel of the future had been defeated so easily.
