Emmiel
Slowly opening my eyes, I find myself in an unfamiliar building. It takes me a while to recall that Kent had drugged me and brought me here.
Glancing around the room, I see cotton wool stained with blood. Did Lopen's shot hit Kent?
"Lopen" I say. "Did he think I betrayed him again?"
A low groan escaped through my lips. "Everything's a mess. I'd better just stay with Kent. It's safer with him"
The door is thrown open as Kent strolls into the room with his wounded shoulder bandaged. "You're awake"
"How's your shoulder?"
"Hurts like hell" He admits. "Lopen is good with his aim, I'll give him that"
Kent paused. "How's your neck? I didn't prick you that deep with the syringe, did I?Are you still feeling after-effects of the drugs?"
"You used a drugs on a pregnant omega. What if—"
"Emmiel, the drug isn't teratogenic. I wouldn't dare hurt you or your baby"
I remained mute for a while. "So, what's the plan now? Do you think this place is safe from Lopen's reach?"
"I KNOW it's safe from Lopen's reach" Kent corrects. "The founder of the omega facilty gave this safehouse to us"
I furrowed my brow, confused. "The founder? Aren't you the founder of the the facility?"
"I'm the person who found each and every one of you when your parents abandoned you but no, I'm not the founder of the omega facility"
"You being on the run with me.." My voice trails off. "What is going to happen with the rest of the kids at the facility?"
"Emmiel, don't let wild thoughts creep into your head" Kent says. "You don't think I'm actually going to abandoned the omegas at the facility, do you?"
"I don't know what to think anymore, Kent"
Kent lets out a heavy sigh as he moves to settle down beside me on the bed. "I'm really sorry I hid the truth from you about being a dominant omega, Emmiel and now, I regret it more than ever"
"But I thought you'd be able to have a secured life in the Lopen's mansion" Kent continued. "Everyone knows how rich Lopen already was. It seemed like a good opportunity for you"
"I understand where you are coming from, Kent" I admit. "But it's going to take a little more time for me to forgive you"
Moreover, my life had been anything but easy since I stepped into the Lopen's mansion.
"Take all the time you need" Kent says, handing over to me a white duffle bag. Rummaging through the bag, it contained vitamins, prenatal meds and omega stabilisers.
"These aren't going to be of much help" I informed him. "I need an alpha's pheromones to stabilise the growth of my baby"
"I know" Kent responds. "Remember the founder of the omega facilty that I mentioned earlier?"
I nod. "The one that got us this place?"
"He's an alpha. He'll be coming here soon. You can use his pheromones to stabilise your baby's growth until it's born"
I should use another alpha's pheromones?Was a married and bonded omega like me allowed to do that?.
The last time I'd released my pheromones around a group of alphas at the cafeteria Lopen took me to, I'd almost gotten pounced on.
I was scared. Scared to share pheromones with a stranger. "What if he tries to.."
"Emmiel" Kent cuts me off. "He wouldn't do anything to you. He's the founder of the omega facility. Remember that. If I'm like a father to you, he's a grandfather. You can trust him"
Trust. Kent was asking alot from me but I didn't have the strength to put up a fight. "I'm hungry"
Kent springs up from the bed. "Wait here while I cook something for you in the kitchen"
"Are you sure you can with that shoulder of yours?. Why not just order in or something?"
"Phone reception don't work here" Kent explained. "It's for your safety"
Where exactly where we?. I was curious but dared not asked. The room I was in didn't have a window so I couldn't even take a peep outside.
"Do you have anything in specific you're craving?"
I shake my head. "Not at all"
"Then, give me a minute"
As soon as Kent was out the door, I opened the white duffel bag, took out the vitamins and popped it into my mouth.
A knock was heard against the door. "You don't need to knock Kent. Come on in"
The door is thrown open as a loud gasp escape my throat to see the person before me. "Alpha Asai, what are you doing here?"
"I came because I was worried about you, Emmiel"
I thought Kent said this place was safe. If Asai could find me then definitely Lopen could as well. "How did you find me?"
"Find you?" Asai laughed. "There was no need to put up a search party and find you because I'm the one who provided this safehouse for you and Kent"
He was?. Wait, Kent and Alpha Asai knew eachother?. What else don't I know about?.
Kent walks in with a tray of food in his hands. The moment his gaze falls on Asai, he bows before him.
"Welcome, Alpha" Kent greets. "I didn't know you would be here already. I should have been around to welcome you"
"It's fine. I waa just in an haste to see how my friend was doing" Asai flash me a broad smile as he mentions the word 'friend'. "We are friends right, Emmiel?"
I nod. "Yes" Turning to face Kent, I asked. "You never told me you knew Alpha Asai"
Kent eyes widened in surprise. "His name is not to be spoken of so freely as he is the founder of the omega facility so address him with respect"
I froze. Asai is the founder of the omega facility? What does any of this even mean?.
"Sorry for the shock, Emmiel" Asai says. "Let me reintroduce myself to you; I'm Alpha Asai, the founder of the omega facility. You can call me grandpa"
