Chapter 12 - Becoming a God, Crazy Driver

The sun was high in the sky, and the air was filled with the smell of cheap perfume, sweat, secretly lit cigarettes, and ofcourse, the smacking sounds of some couples kissing.

A little impolite.

Never underestimate America's students.

Even though they are just a group of young boys and girls, the trend of premature love has already become the norm for them at this stage of life.

At the corner, three boys in baggy pants were cornering a thin boy wearing glasses. The leader was grabbing his collar and cursing at him.

"If you dare to complain to the teacher again, I'll shove your glasses into your asshole!" The bully's threat was very powerful. The man with glasses shrank his neck, and his lips kept trembling.

Ian walked past them without looking away.

"Hey, Ian!" The bully suddenly looked up, grinned, and loosened the collar of the man with glasses. He swaggered towards Ian and reached into his trouser pocket to pull out a few crumpled bills.

"It's still the same old rule. Next month, I must let my dad feel that my grades are gradually improving." The bully handed the money to Ian.

Ian stopped, took the money, and twisted it lightly with his fingertips.

"Ten dollars are missing," He spoke calmly.

"Fuck, you're really good at counting." The bully speechlessly searched his trouser pocket for a few banknotes and slapped them on Ian's outstretched hand, then turned and walked towards the guy with glasses who was being bullied.

Ian's back was very ordinary as he left. The boy with glasses stared at the scene blankly, his eyes wide open behind the lenses. He was obviously saddened that they were both nerds but received different treatment on campus.

Is it because the senior student is handsome enough? The bespectacled boy who is two grades below Ian doesn't know that Ian's "popularity" in school is actually due to his hard work.

Once upon a time.

Ian also encountered school bullying. However, it only took him half an hour to hook up with the bully's mother. Although nothing happened between him and the old woman, he still charged the bully's parents with "molesting a minor" and "assisting in the molestation of a minor" and sent them to prison as felons.

If someone bullied him, he bullies the parents of the bullies.

What reputation?

That doesn't matter.

Even Clark didn't doubt him.

Because what he said was true, just not the complete truth.

The tearful description he gave in front of the jury was how he became a god in one battle. Since then, the school leaders have always been polite when talking to him, not daring to threaten him in the slightest.

Especially after Ian became more and more handsome, no one dared to bet on the loyalty of their female relatives. Because of this, the classmates Ian met at school were all friendly.

"I need to strengthen my body."

Out of school.

Ian did not choose to go home immediately, but planned to go to the gym that Jonathan often mentioned to start exercising. Since he only knew the name of the gym, he reluctantly took a taxi.

"Where are you going?"

The driver was a middle-aged man with an unshaven beard. He was tall and strong, with a strong facial feature and a slightly hoarse voice, giving off a feeling that he had experienced a lot.

Ian put away his schoolbag and responded immediately, "Hello, I'm going to the Big Muscle Club. If I remember correctly, it should not be far from the nearby block."

This is obviously to prevent drivers from taking a detour. How should I put it? In terms of attainments in this area, taxi drivers in Metropolis are second only to those in Gotham City next door.

"Um."

The driver was a taciturn man. He didn't ask much, just started the car silently. The car drove very steadily, and Ian leaned against the window, his fingers unconsciously stroking the pendant on his chest.

He had begun to feel a little tired, but he didn't know when he could gain experience. Just when Ian was wondering if he could gain universal skills through fitness.

"Ding ding ding~"

The driver was driving the car steadily when suddenly a phone rang. The driver looked ahead and took out his cell phone to answer the call.

"Hey, I'm driving a guest."

"Right now?"

"What do you mean you'll die if I don't come?"

The driver's expression changed, and his driving style changed as well. His driving style, which was steady just now, seemed to have suddenly changed. He almost stepped on the accelerator, directly into the fuel tank.

"Buzz~"

The engines were screaming.

The taxi was catapulted like a cannonball.

The bend... was even more direct and graceful. Ian felt like his brain was shaking under the top of his head. He usually wouldn't panic, but this situation was obviously not ordinary.

"This is not Los Santos! You can go slower!" Ian looked at the dashboard and swallowed. The pointer on it had already exceeded 180.

For his reminder.

The driver turned a deaf ear to him, holding the steering wheel with one hand and frantically dialing back the phone with the other.

"Answer the phone! Are you still alive?!"

No one answered.

The driver simply turned on the voicemail.

"Hold on! I'll be there soon!" He shouted anxiously into the phone.

And just at this moment.

"I know you're in a hurry, but please don't be in a hurry."

Ian's voice rang out.

"Fuck!"

The driver noticed a small head, which had moved next to him. He was so frightened that he almost drove the car directly into a roadside fast food restaurant.

Fortunately, he had excellent driving skills and was able to control the car in time.

"What the hell is wrong with you!?"

The driver couldn't take his eyes off the front, but he also wanted to turn his head to see how Ian's head got in. Could it be that he encountered a ghost in broad daylight?

"Really, I can actually get out of the car right now. It won't take you too long to park the car." Ian whispered while holding onto the guardrail that he had bent with his bare hands.

"Uncle, please brake for me, seriously, please brake for me, as long as you slow down, I can jump out of the car by myself." How can I say it, Ian was really backing down.

No way.

The speedometer on the dashboard is almost breaking 220.

Although he didn't have a driver's license, he knew that at this speed, even if he had the power of Berserker, the probability of him turning into a neutrino would only depend on the probability of the other car crashing into him. And looking at the speed of the car, when the car would crash was probably not a mathematical problem, but probably just a matter of time.

"Well, is this the handbrake?"

Ian asked again. It wasn't that Ian wanted to pull the handbrake, but he hoped that this would scare the driver, so that the driver might choose to stop the car on his own initiative.

"Ah? What do you want to do?"

The driver was really scared. He couldn't help it. He quickly paid attention to the road conditions ahead while desperately holding the handbrake. Then he was distracted and frequently glanced back at the rear.

Ian was seen squeezing forward, and the not-so-thin isolation tube was deforming crazily. His arm was also deforming and bleeding, but the boy didn't seem to care at all.

His eyes were fixed on the handbrake of the car.

"!!!???"

Such an outrageous scene. The driver was truly stunned.

"Damn! There's something dirty!" The driver swallowed and felt a chill on the top of his head. He now felt like he would rather have seen a ghost in broad daylight.

What is scarier than a ghost is a madman.

What is obviously more terrifying than a madman is a madman who is like a ghost and defies the heavens.
