Simon is still looking for a camper van. He goes through all the catalogue that he see. He is looking for a cute small comfortable van with a little kitchen for him to cook. He finally visit a few car saloon to have a look. The price is never the issue for him but the look and the kitchen is what he is fussy about. Finally he finds one that have a nice little kitchen and a bed to sleep. The rooftop is able to open up and look at the night sky when laying on the bed. It does seems like the best one of them all. He check for the gas, electricity and water supply amount to carry. Of course as well as the spare tires and other items that the van might need.
Simon wants to surprise Lisa and plan out the meal that he wants to cook. He make sure to order the topical balls for the milk tea. He even buy large cups with recycle straws. He goes around looking for camping chairs and tables for outdoor sitting. He dig for his binoculars that he bought a few years go. Everything related on camping is written on his check list. A week later, the car saloon call to inform that the camper van have arrived. Simon hurry to end his meetings and rush down before the car saloon close for the day.
Simon reach the car saloon and check the camper van is the one that he wants. He check inside the kitchen and the bed. Everything seems to be in working order. Simon did all the paper work and is told that he can pick up the camper van within three days. Simon. hurry to go find bed sheets for the camper van and read the instruction booklet how to use the camper van properly.
Lisa while working is wonder what Simon is doing. It's been a few days and he did not contact her. Always saying that he is busy at work. However when she ask Peter, there is not much going on hence she wonder what is going on. In the apartment she is reading a book on baking cakes. Making a pound cake seems easy thus she plan to make one over the weekend. She sits down comfortable while with the TV on, she write down a list of items she needs for the fund cake. To prepare herself fully she even watch how other people make their pound cake. Watching it she get some tips how others make it. Also how to decorate it to make it attractive.
On Friday she is hanging out in his apartment when she noticed the cups with the sunflowers are missing. She wanted to ask but what if he tells her something bad like they die. She decided to pretend that she did not notice and hurry to help him to dice the carrots and potatoes. Later make some patties for him to fry.
Saturday comes with Lisa laying in bed in a lazy way. Simon message her to come downstairs at ten in the morning. Wear something easy for walking. She look at her mobile phone and buried her head in the pillows now it's only seven in the morning. She continue to lazy around and finally at eight she drag herself to the shower room. Without makeup just blow dry her hair. wearing her gym tee and her gym pants, she head downstair at ten. She stand and round and wait with her backpack and look at her phone. Simon comes downstair with sunglasses and a big bag. He smile and greet her.
"Come follow me."
She follow him and walk the stretch of road where the viechials are park there. Those cars that are bigger and taller have to be park somewhere in the open space car park instead of the basement car park. He stop at a camper van and open the door. She look at him with her eyes open wide. He smile and show her inside. She couldn't close her mouth and marvel at everything. He is delighted to see her happy look. Lisa then remember what she put in her backpack, she take out the pond cake that she made last night.
"I thought you don't know how to cook nor bake. "
"I follow the instructs. It is easy but i dont have the talent to do the decoration. So i leave it as it is."
"Let's have it after our lunch! "
He put it in the fridge. Simon explain to her their destination today. They sit infront and enter the address excitedly. Their conversation is non stop flowing as they talk about everything. Simon brings out the spare sunglasses and cap in the storage box for Lisa to use. They keep talking till they take about three hours to arrive to the spot that Simon wants to show Lisa.
The spot is surrounded by green forest. The birds and insects are singing in the background. The open space is big enough for another two more camper vans to park in. Simon begin to set up the outdoor chairs and table along with a shade to block the strong sunlight by pulling down it from the camper van. While Lisa help to take out the meat to defrost. She start to make some fruit juice for both of them to drink. With a portable blender, two cups of fruit juice is ready in no time.
Everything is gong smoothly as Simon hopes. He and Lisa sit down to enjoy the fruit juice in ice while looking at how beautiful nature is. Lisa who always wants to go camping is excited and she cannot stop smiling. While Simon is happy that his little wish is slowly coming true. Just them and nature to raise the temperature a notch higher.
