Y/N stood in the moonlight, her heart beating against her ribcage. The air around her felt thick with the weight of unspoken words, of everything they had been through and everything they were about to face. Jungkook's eyes, filled with sorrow and regret, pierced through her like a blade.
"I never wanted to pull you into this," Jungkook said, his voice barely above a whisper. "You should never have gotten involved. I should've pushed you away sooner."
Y/N's breath caught in her throat. She could feel the distance growing between them, like a vast ocean, and she refused to let it swallow them both.

Before she could react, a black car skidded to a stop a few yards away. The doors opened, and two figures stepped out, both of them dressed in black suits, their faces hidden by the shadows.
"You knew we'd find you eventually," one of the men said, his voice cold and emotionless.
Jungkook's jaw clenched, his eyes flashing with anger. "I told you to stay away."
The man stepped closer, a smirk playing on his lips. "You think you can walk away from this life, Jungkook? You think you can just leave us behind? It doesn't work like that."

Jungkook turned to her, his expression a mixture of desperation and fear. "Y/N, get out of here. This is my fight."
"No," she said firmly, shaking her head. "This is our fight. And I'm not running away anymore."
The two men exchanged a look before one of them reached for his gun, pulling it from his jacket with a smooth motion. "You're making a big mistake, girl," he said, his eyes glinting with malice.
But before he could aim the weapon, Jungkook was faster. He lunged forward, disarming the man in a fluid motion that left Y/N breathless. The gun clattered to the ground, and the man staggered back, shock written across his face.
"You will regret this," the other man spat, stepping back and signaling for his partner to retreat.
The two men vanished into the shadows, leaving Y/N and Jungkook standing in the moonlight, breathless.
