Beyond these subordinate gods, several of the Annihilation Demonic Wolf's offspring arrived, all Sequence 2 angels, including Gozlat.
Yet none dared cause trouble—Flegrea had killed more than one of its own kin.
All subordinate gods and angels obediently ascended to the mountaintop, where the Annihilation Demonic Wolf's temple stood.
Amanises passed through a veil of mist, and the vista opened before her.
Here stood a grand architectural complex, even by later standards, housing countless giants, elves, and other beyonder creatures. Palaces, cookfires, and markets—this was a god's domain!
The moment they stepped in, the entire city fell silent.
All creatures froze, lifeless, their bodies turning in unison, hollow eyes fixed on Amanises and her companions.
"Aurmir! War!"
The oracle erupted from every mouth, swelling into a tidal wave of sound that swept the mountain range, heard by all beings in the region.
Countless low-sequence creatures exploded, bursting into blood mist, staining the mountain red. From the temple's depths, a violent, destructive will awoke.
In the eyes of the four subordinate gods, the darkness at the temple's core stirred, a mad, bloodthirsty aura shaking their mental states.
The God of the Dead fared better, less directly suppressed.
Dark Demon Wolf Kotar and Antigonus shed spirit worms, writhing and bursting in madness, dissolving into light before returning to their bodies, cycling endlessly.
Amanises showed similar signs, her form nearly transforming into a pure eight-legged demon wolf, with darkness and secrecy surging chaotically. The souls she shepherded wailed, crumbling!
Yet in that moment, Amanysis seemed to teeter on madness.
Of course, it was a façade. Her mental state was stable, but why show weakness here?
In such a moment, if she didn't act a little mad, how could she blend in?
"Ankewelt! Soniathrym!" These were two ancient gods, fused with multiple pathway materials. Though less mad than Flegrea, they were equally cruel.
In the deep darkness, two blood-red, frenzied gazes lit up. Beyond them, another force stirred, peering into fate.
This surge of fate's power intensified Flegrea's madness, its destructive aura growing thicker.
War and slaughter were commonplace for ancient gods in this era. The subordinate gods and angels, accustomed, showed no surprise, waiting silently.
Fate's aura continued to ripple, the spirit world descending, turning the city surreal. Puppets exploded, merging into the spirit world.
Occupying the Fool pathway, Flegrea held partial fate authority, using it to foresee the battle's outcome.
All angels bowed their heads, awaiting Flegrea's command.
Amanises's gaze remained calm, devoid of excess emotion.
"Roar!" After an unknown time, Flegrea roared from the mist, a strange power radiating.
Amanysis's eyes dulled, standing bewildered, as if forgetting her purpose.
Her instincts struggled, poised for defense, yet a subtle suggestion held her back, urging no resistance.
The others were similarly affected. Antigonus stared blankly at his father's puppets, feeling they'd be more elegant hung up.
The God of the Dead gazed skyward, perhaps pondering if phoenixes counted as birds in a deep philosophical quandary.
Gozlat eyed Amanises's back, doubting himself, finding this foe, blending human and wolf aesthetics, less hateful.
Creatures below angel rank fared worse, losing all intellect, forgetting themselves, reduced to fools.
But this power was unstable, fleeting. The next moment, the subordinate gods and angels regained their wits, bowing in awe, daring no discontent.
This was Flegrea's "Fooling" authority, incomplete but terrifying to these subordinates and angels.
"…" Amanises's pupils contracted, concealing all emotion, resuming her calm demeanor.
"To the Giant King's Court!"
Flegrea's frenzied eyes swept over them. Mad but not foolish, it spared its subordinates and angels.
These angels were to gather "cannon fodder" for the war—they couldn't die yet.
"Annihilation reigns!" The subordinate gods and angels retreated respectfully, saying no more.
Flegrea's crimson eyes still gleamed in the mist. Ancient gods were mad but retained minimal rationality, though they rarely needed it.
"Chaos Sea!" Flegrea's madness unabated, it gazed toward an unknown realm above the spirit world. "Sefirah Castle!"
These were the two Origin Sefirot now perceptible.
The Chaos Sea, buried in the earth's core, polluted all who entered. Sefirah Castle, high above the spirit world, was unreachable.
"Ankewelt and Soniathrym must have no chance!"
Flegrea's rationality surfaced, forming this resolve, but madness soon reclaimed it. Its misty form collapsed and reformed, spirit worms wailing, illusory tentacles lashing space.
"Sefirah Castle! Sefirah Castle!"
The unreachable desire drove Flegrea madder.
The Dragon of Imagination and Elf King had felt this, but now, with the Chaos Sea stirring, they had their chance.
Yet Flegrea still couldn't reach it!
Its destructive desire blazed, enveloping the divine kingdom in a terrifying will.
Amanises ignored it all, evading several wolf ambushes to return to her temple, cloaking herself in secrecy.
Only then did her emotions erupt.
"Annhilatipn Demon Wolf…" Amanises's feelings surged, killing intent rising. Only here could she harbor such thoughts.
The Fooling authority was nearly unsolvable for her now, threatening to strip her intellect and cherished calm at any moment.
"Soon!" Her emotions quickly settled. Reflecting, she noticed a change in herself.
"My emotions are richer…" The Goddess smiled lightly. This wasn't bad. Her time in this world was short, yesterday's scenes still vivid in her memory.
After a while, Amanises emerged from her temple, clad in a war skirt, wielding a giant scythe. Under night's cover, she led Darkness pathway extraordinaries to march on the Giant King's Court.
