Chapter 6 - Chapter 06

The divine realm was a big place just as big as the mortal realm itself. The deities that inhabited this realm lived in a manner that was different then mortals in many ways. In others, it was the same, each god and goddess had their own area that they controlled. This is considered their home as it were. The area where a deity considered their home could vary from time to time. They could indeed travel around the divine realm as they were not limited to a single place alone. Even their home where they had control over that space was not limited to a single area. If they wanted to move they could just up and move through that area to another one. Doing so was as easy as just wanting to do it however leaving an area left it open to others to claim it. There was more space in the divine realm than there were gods and goddesses after all, moving to a new area leaves the old one open. Should another deity desire that area they can claim it once it becomes open the moment it becomes so.

There was also the ability to visit other's homes where they would not have control since they were not within their own. They would just be visitors in someone else. Conflicts among them were still commonplace as these were most settled in neutral areas where no one had claimed it for themselves. Then things would be on a level playing field as no one would have the home advantage or away disadvantage and vice versa. Though for more structure, friendly, and/or competitive conflicts these were done in the home areas of deities that had their own set up this way because that is what they were the god and/or goddess of in the first place or just were doing a favor as a neutral party.

It was sometime after Ancu had become Healer Unit 0 that her own home had been altered to reflect who and what she was now. It was far more mechanized compared to before with only hints of nature being a result of her normal mode where she still pretended by Ancu outside of her own home area. Within it, she dropped the ruse and was her true automaton self as well within her own dwelling. She did attract attention as she would get up and move where her home was at a moment's notice without warning even at the time. This was something she was doing because she was following orders that she was given by the Healer's Association to do something. Unaware that they could see far when gazing into the mortal realm. Their view was not infinite as they had to move to a certain spot in the divine realm to get a better more detailed view of various places in the mortal realm. It was not like they were just looking at the entire mortal realm like they were in space looking down on it from all the way up there.

That is not how the divine realm worked as the gods and goddesses were indeed in another realm but not one that was above the mortal one in the normal traditional sense. The divine realm exists alongside the mortal one thus no one had to look up and/or down but they were on the same level that when they used reflective surface like a mirror to look into the mortal realm, a god or goddess just looking straight rather than down. They just use the ability unique to them to view the other realm that exists beside them. While their view was far vast and wide than any mortals normally it was not infinite thus if someone or something of interest was out of their range. They had to get close to it for it to be within their range.

As a magic deity, Ancu had a view that was considered middle range thus would make sense that she would change location from time to time. Though she was doing it far more often than normal now it was still considered not strange to everyone in the divine realm but one god that thought it was. They did not voice this thought aloud but still traveled after Ancu to see what she was doing at the time.

This singular god was Zodan the god of Adventurers. Unlike Ancu that was a magic deity or one that was tied to an element and/or aspect of existence itself. Zodan was one based on something related to mortals. Though he was called the god of adventurers he existed long before adventurers were even a thought in the mind of mortals. Adventuring was what he was the literal personification of as god as the mere act of adventuring was what he governed over. Thus unlike the other deities he did in a scent require mortals to maintain his existence but not in the manner where they had to acknowledge his existence and influence in the mortal realm.

Zodan was the personification of adventuring itself thus as long as the mere act of adventuring existed within mortals he was safe. All adventurers could disappear in the next instance and he would be just fine. Adventuring covers far more than what mortals thought just like how White Magic extended beyond what they thought it did as well. The act of exploring anything large or small regardless of the scope counted as adventuring and thus fell under what Zodan governed.

Since he was literally adventuring personified, he never stayed in one place for too long. Also traveling and looking around the divine realm for anything that caught his eye while doing the same whenever someone caught his eye in the mortal realm. Those who venture too close to the sun were the types that always caught his attention above all others. When what happened to Ancu happened this triggered a memory of something similar that happened once before in the past. It was amazed that it had happened the way and did when he felt that same thing once again though this time in both realms. That was when he began searching and discovered that the Ancu was at the source of it in the divine realm and gave word to those in the mortal realm that were his main followers to do so on their end
