Cornellia was beautiful in every sense of word. I was not just talking about her outward appearance. I was talking about her inward appearance as well.
She was kind, honest and truthful. A woman of beauty and virtue.
That was the impression I had gotten from her the day I met her. I still remembered that day. It had been a year since I met Gildarts and Cornellia.
It was a good day. I was sitting down in the Guild chatting with the lady at the bar.
When...
"Oi! Shanks." I looked behind. I had already sensed the approaching man.
Unlike my prime. I could not use Future Vision without fainting due to exhaustion.
It was the same with Conqueror's Haki. I could use it to my full potential but I would faint due to exhaustion.
'This small body of mine.'
But anyways I focused on the man.
"Yeah. What's up?"
He pointed outside with his thumb.
"Gildarts is calling for you. He said he would be waiting for you at his house."
I nodded.
'Did he bring some gifts for me? He did say he was going to a Quest.'
I looked at the bar lady- Clira. She was in her thirties and had black hair.
"You heard the man. I will be going then." I said to Clira who gently smiled.
"Sure kid. Take care of yourself. Don't trip and fall and come here crying."
"I wish I would."
I replied. Even though I was just five in this life, I had stopped crying few years back.
I waved her bye and to other Guildmates who happened to meet my eye.
I opened the door to outside and walked through the streets of Magnolia to Gildart's house.
Though he was filthy rich. His house was a bit shabby and inside the house I could feel two presence.
One was the same ol presence of Gildarts. Monstrous.
But other was someone I was unfamiliar with.
So I opened the door with no hesitation.

Third Person Pov
Shanks opened the door to Gildarts's house. The house was nothing to noteworthy but Shanks looked visibly surprised.
Not by the unfamiliar face of Cornellia who sat beside Gildarts who had a face of a man in love.
It was surprising but not something that would make Shanks react like he was reacting.
"So clean!?" Shanks could not contain himself. He screamed out loud.
"Hahaha." A feminine laughter came. Shanks got out of his shock and composed himself.
"Hello there." He said.
Gildarts smirked. "No need to be so formal brat."
Shanks looked at Gildarts who held the smirk in his face.
"I already told her everything." Gildarts pointed at Cornellia.
Shanks darted his eyes towards her. She looked different from her future daughter but one could see the similarities. She had darker hair and eyes.
"Nice to meet you. Miss-?"
"You can call me Mrs. Clive."
...Shanks blinked. His face held the question. No words needed to be spoken.
What?- was the question.
"Pfft-" Cornellia chuckled and Gildarts started laughing.
"I am just joking." she said and continued. "My name is Cornellia. Nice to meet you Shanks. I have heard a lot about you from your 'big bro'."
"Haha." Shanks merely laughed.
'She sure is interesting.'
He thought as he took the nearest stool as his seat.
"So what's up?"
Shanks asked looking at Gildarts.
"I am doing good." He answered and looked at Cornellia. "I met her during my travels. She is a wonderful and beautiful woman. I just wanted to let you meet her."
Shanks nodded.
"Gildarts must have already introduced me but I am Shanks and though we may be unrelated by blood. He is a big brother to me and I hope you take good care of him."
Shanks said as he stood up and bowed a bit.
Cornellia looked happy.
"He is just like you said." She stood up and patted Shank's head. "You are so smart! The smartest five year old."
Shanks merely smiled.
He could see the light and warmth in their eyes. They were meant to be and he would make sure as long as they love each other. They won't leave each other.
....
Shanks warmly smiled at the memory from year ago and now these two had their weeding in a month or two.
He was happy for them.
