I heard Jayden scoff in displeasure and glanced at him briefly to see him glaring hard at me. If only he knew that i hated him as much as he thought he hated me. I can't even stand being around him.
I averted my gaze and thought about the Queen's offer for a while. I haven't even brought myself to make a decision when the Alpha King called out to one of the maids who came running at his command.
"Prepare the special bed chamber for my new guest and make sure it is comfortable and suitable enough to her liking." I opened my words to speak but words weren't forthcoming. My brain was as blank as an empty sheet of paper.
"Welcome to the royal household Sophia and if there's anything we can do to make your stay here even more comfortable then do well to let us know." He said to me.
He approached me and placed light peck on my forehead before walking away, leaving the others to follow. Wait, what just happened right now?
