Itadaki slowly turned to the electric boy; he didn't seem to understand what Kura meant by that. For a few moments, silence took over that hallway. Arold arrived during that silence, and more footsteps could be heard—it was the principal, arriving alongside Aki and Ali. After they showed up, the man accused of being the killer began to speak:
— What do you mean, Kura? What are you talking about?
He said it in a calm and serene manner, which only irritated our protagonist even more. Kura screamed in response to Itadaki's question, veins bulging with the hatred he was feeling:
— What do you mean, "what am I talking about?!" Are you stupid or just pretending to be?
He was practically charging toward Itadaki. Naturally, his younger brother held him back with ease—considering the older one's size—stopping him from attacking the man who was playing dumb. Then, the towering principal stepped forward a bit, speaking loudly enough for everyone to hear:
— That's right, you heard me. He's the killer we've been looking for. We have a recording showing his face—specifically right before he went into the showers. Who'd have thought taking a bath would land you in this mess...
That left Aki completely speechless, stunned, shouting to his friend, "Is this true, Itadaki?! Did you really do all of this?!" The silence lasted three more seconds, until a sinister laugh started coming from the mouth of that being. He raised his right hand to his face, trying to hide his expression of pure mockery:
— Yes... I, Itadaki, committed all the murders. You figured it out because of the arm, huh?
The principal, a bit baffled, simply confirmed it in his mind, thinking, "For a bastard like this, he's pretty smart at covering up the crap he did." That only made the being with the strange arm laugh even harder. At the same time, he began tearing the clothes off that arm to reveal it fully.
— I guess there's no need to hide this anymore, huh? I wonder if you'll recognize this mark on my arm?!
After he finished tearing away the fabric, the mark was fully revealed, along with another that made it clear the arm didn't belong to that body—it was attached there. The exposed symbol left Arold in shock. He finally remembered where he'd seen it before, going pale as he spoke in a trembling voice:
— T-that mark... It...
He let go of Kura as he said it, drawing everyone's attention—their eyes fixed on the being and on Arold.
— That's the mark of the Miraijins... it's the birthmark of their warrior caste! But that makes no sense. They were wiped out more than four hundred years ago!
That statement made the Miraijin in front of them smile even wider. He snapped the fingers of his right hand and spoke in his incredibly mocking, threatening tone:
— Touché, my friend. But... ever heard of the Unsterbleach Project?
That shocked both the principal and the student. The principal clenched his fists and teeth, furrowing his brow as he stared into the "face" of the being before him, and said:
— Don't tell me... you're the...
The man's smile only widened, showing all his teeth and letting out more spine-chilling laughter as he said:
— Exactly. I am the immortal being. The perfect being... Dtùschar!
He spread his arms, his face full of arrogance. The principal drew his baton and pointed it at the being in front of him, speaking with irritation and disbelief:
— That's impossible. On the very day the Miraijins were wiped out, your body was destroyed by the old army hero, "The Purple of Death." Your entire body was incinerated until nothing was left—
The immortal raised his right arm, still laughing in a bitterly ironic way, as if saying "How foolish you are," while staring deep into the principal's eyes with a deadly, piercing gaze.
— My entire body—except for this arm. And I was lucky enough to find this boy during one of his missions. His body is a perfect vessel—
His speech was cut short as Kura dashed forward like a lightning bolt and landed a powerful punch to the center of his chest, piercing through his body and launching him all the way to the end of the hallway. The enemy's blood sprayed across the path he flew through, until he crashed violently into a wall—cracking it and breaking several bones from the impact.
— Like I give a damn about your shitty backstory. I'm gonna beat your face in until it's unrecognizable, you son of a bitch!
Arold ran to his brother's side, extremely worried about their friend's body—not knowing whether Itadaki had survived that blow to the chest. He held his older brother and spoke desperately:
— Bro, don't hit him like that! It's still Itadaki's body—you don't know if he'll make it out alive after that blow!
Their enemy stood back up. The gaping hole in his chest and all his broken bones regenerated until they were good as new, as if no injury had ever happened. He spoke loudly, clearly irritated:
— Of course the kid won't die. I can't use a dead body as my vessel!
The Miraijin charged fiercely at the boys, aiming a heavy strike at the electric one's head. The boy immediately responded with a strong electric blast to the chest, hurling the Miraijin away and knocking him to the ground, temporarily immobilized. Meanwhile, the explosion boy grabbed the sword from Ali's waist and quickly advanced toward the fallen man, while the principal shouted to a nearby soldier:
— Call for backup from the Lächelnd squad—they're probably nearby!
The soldier dashed frantically to the command room to place the call. Arold charged at the Miraijin, concentrating explosive material into the blade of his sword. He swung it over his right shoulder with his left hand, rotating his hips and widening his stance for the attack, bringing the deadly blade down at full speed toward the villain's torso—aiming right at the connection point between Itadaki's body and the attached arm—while shouting:
— If I rip your arm off, that might just save Itadaki from your grip!
The immortal tried to dodge, but Arold managed to land the blow first. The strike triggered a massive explosion that tore through the building all the way down to the third floor, from top to bottom. A massive cloud of smoke rose from the force of the attack, startling everyone there, including his brother. It was impossible to tell whether the villain had been defeated by such a powerful and energetic blow. "Did Arold manage to pull it off—or did he fail?" That was the question on everyone's mind as they watched the smoke slowly stop rising.
