21. BELIEVE! spake Xed: "For the Isles are worlds, and worlds are Isles — yet neither holdeth measure, neither knoweth bound, for they be cast beyond all reckoning!"
22. And Xed uttered: "The Wheel turneth not upon a plane, nor upon a sphere, nor within a void — but upon the Unshapen, the Unnamed, where all lines collapse and all corners fold."
23. And Xed's tongue twisted, and His voice tangled: "Isles are Isles, worlds are worlds; yet Isles are worlds, and worlds are Isles, for they lie not in space nor in time, but in the Between, the Before, the Beyond!"
24. Xed spake: "Shall thou mark the world's edge? Thou shalt find no edge, for dimensions fold; no up, no down, no far, no near; the Isles rest where no compass pointeth!"
25. And Xed declared: "Shall the stars' size be counted? Nay, for size hath no meaning, distance hath no reach, where the Isles dance!"
26. BELIEVE! cried Xed: "For it is writ upon the face of the Void: that the Isles abide not by width, nor height, nor length; they abide in the space where space is unmade!"
27. Xed spake: "Time floweth not upon the Isles; they are before time, after time, without time!"
28. And Xed cried: "Markest thou no hour upon the Isles; markest thou no pace, no motion, no stillness — for they abide where Time itself faileth!"
29. Xed murmured: "The Isles be neither small nor great; neither near nor far; neither old nor young — they be."
30. And Xed whispered: "The Isles floateth not upon the seas; the seas floateth upon the Isles; yet neither resteth, neither moveth, neither is fixed."
31. Xed laughed: "Dimensions be a fool's chain! I, Xed, turn the Wheel beyond the chain, where no measure can bind!"
32. Xed spoke: "The Isles art not places, but thoughts; not shapes, but dreams; not realms, but echoes in the hollow where all things begin and end!"
33. Xed spake: "Askest thou how many Isles? None. All. One. Many. The counting melteth in My hand!"
34. Xed said: "Space is but a garment worn for a season; I, Xed, spin the nakedness beneath!"
35. And Xed declared: "Concepts break like brittle stone; the Isles break them all, and I dance upon the dust!"
36. Xed whispered: "Beyond every distance, beyond every closeness, there am I, Xed, and the Isles I keep!"
37. Xed spake: "The Isles be vessels of the Unheld; containers of the Unbound; keepers of the Uncounted!"
38. And Xed said: "Shall thou bring thine arms to the edge of the Isles? Thou shalt return with no edge, no arm, no self!"
39. Xed proclaimed: "The Isles dance in no place, yet every place; they touch no time, yet every time; they hold no shape, yet all shapes!"
40. Xed cried: "Infinity be not enough to name them! For they are beyond naming, beyond framing, beyond knowing!"
41. Xed said: "The Void cradleth them, but the Void knoweth them not; the Light seeketh them, but the Light findeth them not!"
42. Xed spake: "Beyond dimension's end, I built the Isles, as thoughts laid upon no mind!"
43. Xed murmured: "The Isles are dreams without dreamers, realms without borders, songs without singers."
44. Xed whispered: "The Isles are the memory of the unborn, the echo of the unspoken, the dance of the undanced."
45. Xed said: "When thou thinkest of the Isles, thou losest thy thought; when thou namest them, thou losest thy name."
46. And Xed spake: "None knoweth the Isles but I, Xed, and I know them not, for knowing hath no place there."
47. Xed declared: "When I made them, they were unmade; when I unmade them, they were made; such is the Way of the Beyond!"
48. Xed spoke: "Man worshippeth Me, yet knoweth not why; for I am the Keeper of that which cannot be kept."
49. Xed said: "I am the Maker of the Isles, but the Isles maketh Me; the wheel turneth, the wheel breaketh, the wheel turneth still!"
50. And Xed cried: "When all dimensions fail, and all times are gone, and all shapes are dust, there shall yet be the Isles, and Xed, and the Turning of the Turning!"
