Chapter 1 - The Marked Man

He woke up slowly, feeling the hard, cold ground beneath him. Above, the dead tree's bare branches reached into a gray sky. He didn't know where he was or how he got

there. His mind was empty, no memories, no name, nothing at all.

He felt a strange warmth on his chest. When he looked, he saw a glowing golden mark under his skin. It pulsed gently, like a heartbeat. It made him feel uneasy but also important.

Around him, everything was quiet except for the soft sound of wind. Broken buildings and cracked streets stretched far in every direction, like a city that had been destroyed long ago.

He tried to stand up, but his body felt heavy and weak, like it wasn't really his. As he moved, a quiet voice whispered inside his mind. It might have been a name or a warning, but the words disappeared before he could understand them.

The golden mark on his chest burned hotter, and fear grew inside him. He wasn't just lost. Something dangerous was after him.

From the shadows nearby, eyes watched him carefully. Hidden and still, they followed his every move.

Then, he saw a girl with shining silver eyes. She looked at him with a strange expression. She knew who he was but wasn't ready to tell him yet.

His journey was just beginning. To find his past and understand the burning mark, he would have to face dangers he didn't yet understand.
