Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 – A Name Worth Saving

Part 1 – The Flight Through Smoke

The world turned on her overnight.

One moment, Liana had been hailed as a medical savior. The next, her name flashed across global media: "Fugitive Doctor Accused of Biotech Terrorism."

Sirens screamed outside the Zurich safehouse. Elena burst through the back hallway. "They're not giving us time to vanish. Move now."

Liana didn't ask questions. She threw on black jeans, a hoodie, and grabbed the drive containing her father's final research.

Outside, a decoy car exploded on cue, drawing the hounds in the wrong direction. Liana and Elena slid through the underground exit and vanished into the winding tunnels beneath the city.

As they emerged hours later in the Swiss countryside, Liana whispered, "They'll chase me forever.""No," Elena said. "They'll chase your ghost. Because from this moment on, the real Liana Reyes just went dark."

Part 2 – The Wolf Unleashed

In Berlin, a man named Marcek bled out on the floor of his penthouse gasping as Alexander's gloved hand let him fall.

"That was for lying about the Prague hit," Alexander whispered.

He moved silently, methodically. His black jacket bore no logo, his knife never left behind. One by one, Julian's operatives began to vanish: an asset in Dubai drowned in his own pool, a tech leak in Istanbul found poisoned in a locked room.

Valkyrie's intel fed the hunt. Cipher laid the paths.

But Alexander was the one doing the killing.

Each target whispered a piece of truth before they died. Each step traced Julian's full plan: to seize Project Seraphim, destroy Alexander's legacy, and discredit Liana until no one remembered her innocence.

He would not allow it.

Not now.

Not when she had become the one thing he'd never had.

Hope.

Part 3 – Truth, Unbound

Back at the mountain estate, the war room was quiet until Liana's trembling fingers slid the last of her father's decrypted files into the system.

Alexander stood beside her, blood on his knuckles, shadows under his eyes. "Are you sure about this?"

"If I die tomorrow," she said, "I want the world to know I lived with truth."

With Elena's help, they released the files to a controlled circle of global media, medical regulators, and private watchdog networks. The documents contained:

Live genetic comparisons proving Julian's fraud

Testimonies hidden by Julian's legal team

The complete ethical documentation of Project Seraphim

A final video from Liana's father, recorded on his deathbed in the video, he spoke directly to her:"To my daughter… you were born for more than medicine. You were born to burn the lies down and rebuild something better."

The effect was instantaneous.

News outlets began retracting stories. The Swiss government opened a new inquiry into Julian Wolfe Industries. And Liana's name was officially removed from the international warrant list.

For the first time in weeks, Alexander took her face in his hands and whispered:

"You're not a fugitive anymore."

She blinked back tears.

"I never was."
