Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Welcome to the Abstract System

"What the hell? Where am I? Is this still China?"

Looking at the bustling streets before him, Victor fell into complete confusion.

He had clearly been watching anime at home just moments ago—how had he suddenly appeared here?

Looking more closely, he realized that all the signs on the street shops were written in Japanese!

"Could it be that I've transmigrated?"

"But wait... I wasn't hit by a truck, I wasn't electrocuted, and I didn't die suddenly. So how did I end up transmigrating?"

Just as Victor was pondering what to do next, a voice suddenly echoed in his mind.

[Ding! Host detected. Abstract System binding successful!]

"System?" Victor's face lit up with delight.

As expected, the novels were right, every transmigrator gets a system!

[Affirmative.]

"Tell me about your abilities!"

As a seasoned reader who had devoured countless novels, Victor easily accepted his current situation. He had no family ties in his original world anyway, so transmigrating wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

[This system is called the Abstract System. The host gains Abstract Points by performing overly abstract actions.]

[Abstract Points can be used for lottery draws. The prize pools are divided into four tiers: Low-tier (100 points), Mid-tier (1,000 points), High-tier (10,000 points), and Abstract-tier (100,000 points).]

[The prize pools contain everything imaginable. There's nothing I can't provide—only things you can't think of!]

Abstract actions?

Do I need to streak under the moonlight or something?

This puts me in quite the predicament.

Just as Victor was contemplating whether he should drop his pants to "let his bird see the world," the system's voice rang out again.

[Ding! Newbie Gift Pack detected. Do you wish to open it?]

"Open it immediately!"

Hesitating even for a second would be disrespectful to the newbie gift pack!

[Ding! Congratulations! Host has obtained the ability: 100% Barehanded Blade Catch!]

[Description: Swing your sword while silently activating this ability, and enemies will be compelled to run over and catch your blade. Control duration: 10 seconds. Power gap is irrelevant.]

[Ding! Congratulations! Host has obtained the ability: Are You Here to Take a Dump?]

[Description: Shout these words to make everyone within a 100-meter radius scatter while also applying a weakening effect. This ability affects both allies and enemies—use with caution.]

"Holy crap, what incredibly abstract abilities!"

Victor now understood how to earn Abstract Points. He wasn't supposed to make himself abstract—he needed to make others abstract!

Realizing this, Victor revealed a sunny smile.

"Hehehe..."

[Please note: When using abstract abilities on targets, you will gain different amounts of Abstract Points based on the target's strength. The stronger they are, the more points you earn!]

"I see..."

Victor glanced at the busy street, his smile growing even wider.

But just as he was considering whether to test his abilities on these passersby, another voice sounded in his mind.

[The Dimensional Chat Group invites you to join. Do you accept?]

"Holy shit! I have more than one cheat!" Victor was both surprised and delighted.

A dimensional chat group—he was incredibly familiar with this concept!

What kind of transmigrator would have the audacity to transmigrate without a cheat these days? And he actually had two!

"Accept! Absolutely accept!"

Hesitating even for a second would be disrespectful to the Dimensional Chat Group!

[Ding! Victor has joined the Dimensional Chat Group. Please give him a warm welcome!]

[Ding! Kiana has joined the chat group. Please give her a warm welcome!]

[Ding! Shinobu Kocho has joined the chat group. Please give her a warm welcome!]

Almost instantly, three notification sounds rang in Victor's mind.

[Lumine: Yo, yo, yo! After half a month, we finally have new members joining. Welcome, welcome!]

[Stelle: Newcomers post photos!]

[Belle: Welcome! If you have any questions, check the chat group announcements. By the way, everything written there is true.]

When Victor clicked on the chat group members' avatars, he was amazed to find they were all characters he recognized.

Including himself and the two others who had just joined, there were only six people in the entire group. And four of them were actually protagonists from miHoYo games!

Lumine—the Traveler from Genshin Impact. (Female Version)

Stelle—the Trailblazer from Honkai: Star Rail.

Belle—the Proxy from Zenless Zone Zero. (Female Version)

Kiana—the "Paramecium" from Honkai Impact 3rd, future Herrscher of Finality.

This chat group had apparently raided miHoYo's character roster!

[Victor: Ahem, hello everyone. I'm Victor. Please take care of me.]

Better to introduce himself properly first to build good relationships.

[Lumine: Huh? This newcomer showed up quickly. Seems like he has strong adaptability.]

[Victor: It's alright. Joining a chat group isn't really that surprising to me.]

[Belle: Could it be that you've encountered something even more bizarre?]

[Victor: Does eating hotpot and singing at home, then suddenly transmigrating to a strange world count?]

[Stelle: World transmigration? So awesome!]

[Kiana: By the way, the announcement says you all come from different worlds. Is this true?]

At this point, another newcomer, Kiana, finally spoke up.

[Belle: All true.]

[Shinobu Kocho: Evidence?]

The last newcomer also emerged. However, compared to Victor and Kiana, Shinobu Kocho was obviously extremely wary. Without even guessing, Victor knew she probably mistook the chat group for some kind of Blood Demon Art.

[Ding! Lumine sends an exclusive red envelope x1 to Shinobu Kocho]

[Lumine: Here's the evidence you requested. I believe this doesn't exist in your world.]

Demon Slayer World

Shinobu Kocho gripped her Nichirin Blade while cautiously accepting the exclusive red envelope Lumine had sent.

As light flickered, a green crystal butterfly appeared before her eyes.

After confirming there was no danger, Shinobu Kocho immediately trapped the Crystal Butterfly with her haori.

[Shinobu Kocho: I believe it.]

[Belle: Lumine, what did you give the newcomer?]

[Lumine: Just a Crystal Butterfly.]

[Belle: Ah, a Crystal Butterfly.]

She had seen Crystal Butterflies before—strange creatures that were very common in Lumine's world. Or more accurately, they were elemental creatures.

[Lumine: What about you two other newcomers? Do you also need proof?]

[Victor: No need.]

[Kiana: I don't need it either.]

[Stelle: I don't believe it! Transfer me 50 credits to prove it's real!]

Haha, truly worthy of being Stelle—the Trailblazer humor.

[Belle: Stop it, you're not a newcomer.]

Victor now turned his attention to the chat group's function panel.

It was similar to what he knew from novels. Besides chatting, the chat group had check-in, red envelope, upload functions, and most importantly, a mall.

Opening the chat group mall, he found only two items.

The first was a Traversal Talisman priced at 100 points. After use, you could travel to any group member's world and stay for up to 24 hours.

The second was a Permanent Traversal Talisman. As the name suggested, it had the same function as the regular talisman, except the time limit was removed. The price was a staggering 10,000 points!

"Chat group, I want to check in."

After closing the mall, Victor began his daily check-in.

[Ding! Check-in successful. Congratulations on receiving 95 points.]

95 points? He wasn't sure if that was good or bad. Might as well ask directly.

[Victor: I checked in and got 95 points. As a newbie, I'd like to ask if this is a lot?]

[Lumine: So-so. (Attached screenshot: 159 check-in points)]

[Stelle: Jealousy makes people unrecognizable!]

[Belle: The daily check-in limit is 300 points. Current record holder is Lumine with 210 points last week. Lowest record holder is Stelle with 3 points.]

[Stelle: We could still be friends if you didn't mention that.]
