Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

Planet-11 (What's left of Earth)

Forsaken District, Province of Metropolis

A loud explosion echoed through the empty land.

A small boy, only four years old, stopped what he was doing. He looked up, startled, trying to understand where the noise came from. He wanted to check it out, but his mother had given him clear instructions — "Find the ingredients for the potion. Stay safe."

He was trying to make a Tier 1 healing potion, something he had been studying for days. But he still couldn't get it right. Some parts of the process confused him, no matter how many times his mother explained it.

So, instead of following the noise, he focused on his task.

"Where's the Estrella leaf?" he mumbled, bending down to check the grass.

He searched carefully, brushing through the plants. But all he found were Aveoli herbs — they were used to make hair shiny, not to cure coughs. He scratched his head in frustration.

As he stood up, he noticed the sky getting darker. A strong wind picked up. Then he saw them — huge helicopters, flying fast in the distance.

It was the first time he saw real helicopters. Before this, he had only seen them on TV.

They were amazing to watch, but the wind they caused scattered the herbs he had collected.

"Mama's going to be so mad…" he thought sadly.

He felt a drop of rain and decided to head home. Holding a small basket, he walked back toward their house, which stood alone deep in the forest.

He kept hearing explosions, but he didn't think much of them. Maybe Papa's training again, he thought.

But when he arrived, everything changed.

Their house… was destroyed.

The walls were broken, the roof was gone, and smoke filled the air. In the middle of the yard stood two giant monsters.

His basket fell from his hand.

They were terrifying — one was a huge black beast called an Armageddon, and the other was a three-headed dragon. Both were trapped inside some kind of invisible cage, roaring in rage as they tried to escape.

All around them were people in black clothes, standing at the four corners like guards.

"The child has been found! Start the sealing spell!" shouted a man with a deep voice.

The boy trembled. He didn't care about the monsters — he was worried about his parents.

Where's Mom and Dad?

Then he heard another voice — a woman's voice, calm and strong. She landed beside him, wearing a long gray cloak and glasses. Her presence felt serious, like someone important.

"Mom! Dad!" the boy cried, trying to run toward the ruined house.

But before he could take a step, the woman grabbed his arm.

"Stay back. It's dangerous," she said in a cold tone.

"But my mom and dad…" he said with tears in his eyes.

"We're handling it. You're safe with me now."

Just then, the monsters roared even louder. Their eyes scanned the area — until all of them locked onto the boy. Their expressions changed. It was like they recognized him.

The Armageddon opened its mouth and formed a dark ball of energy, aiming it toward the sky police standing nearby. But before it could hit them, the barrier around the monsters made the energy explode in place.

"Now! Seal them!" the woman ordered.

The four people around the monsters raised their hands, touching the ground with glowing symbols. Four bright chains shot out, wrapping around the monsters' bodies. The chains turned black as the monsters screamed in pain.

The boy watched in horror as the two creatures slowly turned to stone. Just before they were fully frozen, they both looked at him — their eyes full of sorrow.

And suddenly, the boy felt a sharp pain in his chest… like something was taken from him.

"The mission is complete," said a sky police who landed next to the woman holding the child.

The boy looked up, his eyes filled with tears.

"My mom and dad… where are they?"

There was a moment of silence. Then came the answer that crushed his heart.

"They're gone."
