Naruto World – Konohagakure
Inside a quiet, spacious room, a young woman sat in silence.
She had a tall, well-proportioned figure and long honey-blonde hair tied up in a high ponytail. Her features were striking, elegant yet fierce. Even while seated, her presence was commanding.
She was none other than the princess of the Senju Clan, Tsunade.
At that moment, Tsunade was staring at the strange interface floating in her mind, a mysterious chat group, murmuring to herself:
"A chat group...? Doesn't feel like genjutsu…"
"If the items in that shop are real… could I use them to grow stronger? Maybe even end this war...?"
Just then, a burst of chaotic footsteps echoed from outside.
"Lady Tsunade! Trouble!"
Tsunade's expression darkened. "What is it?"
A Konoha shinobi rushed in, bowing low.
"Lord Orochimaru just returned to the village. He said, Lord Nawaki has been… involved in an incident."
Her pupils shrank.
Tsunade's voice trembled. "Where is Orochimaru? Take me to him, now!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
Tsunade bolted after the messenger and entered a side room.
Inside stood Orochimaru and Jiraiya, both cloaked in a heavy silence. Their faces were grim, shadows dancing beneath their eyes.
Tsunade's steps faltered.
"You… might not want to see this."
Jiraiya gently held out an arm to stop her.
"It doesn't matter," Tsunade replied, voice hoarse. "Even if I see him… I might not recognize him anymore."
Orochimaru said nothing. He only handed her a familiar pendant, silent and cold.
It was the same gift Tsunade had given Nawaki just yesterday, for his birthday.
Her hands trembled as she caught the pendant, then sprinted past them, eyes wide.
What she saw made her blood run cold.
A pool of blood had stained the floor.
"NAWAKI!!"
Clutching the necklace tightly, Tsunade collapsed to her knees, her cries torn from her soul.
Why?
Why did this happen?!
Just yesterday, they had celebrated his birthday…
He had spoken so passionately about becoming Hokage...
"The dead can't come back…"
Jiraiya's voice was soft, yet it pierced like a blade.
Come back...?
Suddenly, Tsunade remembered the strange chat group she had just joined.
The others in the group had said that with enough points… anything was possible.
Could she bring Nawaki back?
The people in the group all had grand, almost divine-sounding names.
Maybe, just maybe, one of them knew a way to bring someone back from the dead.
Of course, a part of her still didn't trust the bizarre group fully.
But right now… it was the only hope she had left.
Even if someone in that group could revive him…
Why would they help her?
She was a newcomer. A stranger to them.
And resurrection, how could that be easy?
Tsunade looked down at the bloodstained floor, grief swallowing her whole.
She gritted her teeth.
Then she closed her eyes, and summoned the group interface once more.
[Group Chat Interface – Active]
[Senju Princess]: Can the chat group… bring someone back to life?
[My Little Sister's a Chunibyo]: Umm… I don't think the group itself can do that. But… maybe someone in the group knows a way?
[Commander of the Great Wall Garrison]: There's no such method in my world.
[Blade King]: …Did something happen?
[Senju Princess]: I just got word… My little brother died in battle. And yesterday… was his birthday…
[My Little Sister's a Chunibyo]: Oh no… I'm so, so sorry for your loss. That's heartbreaking… I'll mourn for him in silence.
[Blade King]: My condolences.
Reading their replies, Tsunade felt her heart sink deeper.
Still, she refused to give up.
She typed again, her hands trembling.
[Senju Princess]: If there's any way to bring Nawaki back, I'm willing to pay any price. Please… I beg you.
"So it is Tsunade…"
Carl looked at the request in the chat group and instantly understood.
He remembered, Tsunade did have a younger brother. One who died young.
Around the time of graduation from the Academy. Barely twelve or thirteen.
And judging by her current appearance, she herself was still in her teens, not yet one of the Legendary Sannin.
This… was that point in time.
As for resurrection…
With the Silver Superman Template, Carl did have the power to do it.
While he pondered silently, the rest of the group was in shock.
[My Little Sister's a Chunibyo]: ??
[Blade King]: A… mission?! Wait, the group has missions now?
[Commander of the Great Wall Garrison]: First time I've seen one.
[My Little Sister's a Chunibyo]: This one looks brutal… Is resurrection even possible?
[Commander of the Great Wall Garrison]: I wouldn't know. I'm a soldier, not a miracle worker.
[My Little Sister's a Chunibyo]: I'm just an ordinary girl… It's hard enough just surviving in my world. Let alone bringing someone back...
[My Little Sister's a Chunibyo]: I'm really sorry, @Senju Princess.
[Senju Princess]: It's alright. I didn't expect anyone to accept it anyway. I know it sounds absurd…
[Senju Princess]: But since the mission was posted… all I can do is hope. If no one takes it, then… so be it.
[Blade King]: I'm sorry. I can't help either…
Tsunade's last flicker of hope was fading fast.
Had she been foolish to believe in miracles?
[Senju Princess]: Don't worry about it. I just… had to try.
And then, out of nowhere,
The silent newcomer finally spoke.
[God Among Mortals]: You know, I've been curious about visiting other worlds. Maybe I'll take a mission while I'm at it.
[God Among Mortals]: Need help, @Senju Princess?
Tsunade's heart skipped a beat.
[Senju Princess]: Yes! Please! If there's even the slightest chance… I'm begging you!
[God Among Mortals]: No problem. It's a small matter.
[My Little Sister's a Chunibyo]: (◎Д◎)?!
[My Little Sister's a Chunibyo]: Wait, WHAT?! The quiet newbie is a boss-level player?! You're just gonna take on a resurrection mission like it's nothing?!
[Blade King]: WHAT?! You call bringing someone back from the dead a small matter?! Then what's a big one to you?!
[Commander of the Great Wall Garrison]: This is surreal…
???
What just happened?!
Was the mission… already completed?
It hadn't even been a minute!
[My Little Sister's a Chunibyo]: Wait, what the heck?! Mission COMPLETE?!?!
[My Little Sister's a Chunibyo]: Didn't it say it was extremely difficult? This was about resurrection, wasn't it?!
[Commander of the Great Wall Garrison]: That's INSANE.
[Blade King]: I can't believe someone actually did it…
The whole group was stunned by how fast God Among Mortals had completed the mission.
Then they saw the reward screen, and jaws dropped.
[Blade King]: Holy crap… That many points?!
[Blade King]: That's… ten thousand points! I've only ever had, like, a couple dozen!
[Mission Completed: Revive Nawaki – Reward: 10,000 Points]
