Chapter 24 - Void Fate Descends: One No Longer Belonging to the World

"There are those born not for this world.

There are also those – who must be born because this world cannot contain them."

Ash and dust dissipated.

The Grand Burial Spirit Altar had completely collapsed, leaving no trace of inheritance, nor a single shadow of memory.

Only Lin Mo remained, standing silently in the silver-gray expanse of heaven, surrounded by the faint cracks of the void.

The wind did not blow. There was no light. But something within him had changed.

On his left chest, an ash-colored spiral mark slowly appeared.

No one taught it. No one bestowed it.

Void Fate – was a mark not belonging to any heavenly mandate.

A form of existence – not born of heaven, nor self-annihilated.

A life... forged by pure will.

Lin Mo felt the blood flowing within him operating according to an entirely new rule.

Not relying on spiritual energy.

Not borrowed from essence.

Not using elixirs, spell incantations, or cultivation methods.

With every breath, he self-generated Dao.

With every step, heaven and earth had to adjust to adapt.

"This is... the feeling of one who no longer belongs to the old world."

He looked up, his eyes a pale ash color, reflecting the shadow of the heavenly Dao that had weighed down his destiny for so many years.

No longer afraid.

No longer hateful.

Only one thing remained — direction.

A tremor resonated.

The layer of sky above suddenly cracked open a small fissure — only for an instant before closing again. But in that moment, an aura from the Ancient Divine Palace sensed the anomaly.

In a distant part of the sky, an old man with half-closed eyes within the Divine Palace opened them.

The smoke from the pure jade bottle transformed into a circular spiral — identical to the Void Fate mark.

"Finally... he has been born."

"Command all Heart-Cleansing Divine Guards — prepare assassins."

"One bearing Void Fate... cannot be allowed to exist for long."

Returning to where Lin Mo stood.

The space beneath his feet fractured — a sign that Oblivion Valley was self-destructing.

A gate of ash light opened, leading him back to the Nine Profound Dao Repository.

When he stepped out of the gate...

The entire heaven and earth fell silent for a moment.

The sky was no longer clear blue, but opaque as if covered by a thick layer of ashen clouds.

A few strange beings silently retreated into the shadows, as if instinct told them: one who no longer belonged to this world had returned.

Lin Mo took firm steps.

He was not strong yet.

Not yet a supreme being.

Even his cultivation – had not yet returned to the Mortal Embryo realm.

But with every step he took... heaven and earth had to retreat one step.

"From today... I am no longer a survivor of the old blood calamity.

Nor am I the outcast of the Lin family."

"I... am Lin Mo. The first to bear Void Fate – defying and breaking the heavens."
