The flying vehicle smoothly landed inside the Night Guard's secret hideout, a massive complex
carved into the heart of a rocky mountain. The heavy metal doors closed quietly behind them,
and Lux found himself in a world completely different from the Shadow Organization's base.
Here, the atmosphere was vibrant, filled with advanced technology and a strong sense of
shared purpose. Lux saw the Night Guard members working diligently, moving between glowing
display screens, maintaining equipment, and training in vast, bustling halls.
"This is your new home, Lux," said Echo, leading him through softly lit corridors. "Here you'll be
safe, and here you'll learn everything you need."
She guided him to a simple but comfortable room with a bed, a table, and a large display
screen. "Rest now. Your training starts tomorrow."
The next day, Lux's intense training with the Night Guard began. This training wasn't harsh and
violent like the Shadow Organization's, but rather focused on understanding his new body and
controlling the latent power within him. The goal was to tame "Reven", not just to use him.
His first trainer was Jalen, the man with the giant mechanical arm, an expert in weapons and
technology. Jalen taught him how to use the Night Guard's advanced weaponry, how to hack
complex systems, and even how to deal with the organic technology used by demons.
"Your body, Reven, is a weapon in itself," Jalen said once, explaining to Lux how to channel
energy into his fists. "But the mind is the strongest weapon. You must learn to think like your
enemy, and anticipate their every move."
Next came Sira, the woman with the gun and sharp eyes. She was a skilled sniper and taught
Lux the arts of stealth and infiltration, and how to use the environment to his advantage in
combat. Sira was quick to observe, catching any hesitation in Lux's movements and correcting
him sternly.
"Never hesitate, Lux," Sira said, aiming her pistol with astonishing accuracy at a distant target.
"Hesitation means death in this world."
But the most exciting part of his training was with Echo herself. She didn't just teach him
combat; she began to reveal the history of this world, about the ancient civilization that left
behind the "Energy Key" and many other secrets. She explained about the Alpha, the ancient
beings believed to be the origin of all advanced life forms, and their role in maintaining balance.
She spoke of Demons and Vampires, and the eternal conflict between the forces of light and
darkness.
"Your body, Lux, is a key to this conflict," Echo said once, her eyes gazing at him intently.
"Reven's latent power, when controlled by your true soul, can shift the balance of power."
Echo also taught him how to control his inner energy, and how to use it to enhance his strength
and speed, and even heal his wounds with astonishing rapidity. These abilities were
supernatural, but they were part of Reven's genetically modified body.
As Lux trained, he began to feel profound changes in his body. He no longer felt the sharp pains
that had plagued him initially. His movements became more agile, and his strength grew day by
day. Most importantly, flashes of his true memories became clearer, and he began to feel as if
he was regaining a large part of his lost identity. He was no longer just "Reven", but Lux, the
young man from another world.
