Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Wood Style Fusion 30%, Challenge Jabba

The Jackson sailed swiftly across the sea. Inside the training room, Leo was training like mad—because the pressure on this ship was immense.

Everyone on board was monstrously strong!

"Huff... huff... huff..."

The training session ended with a crisp system ding. Leo sat cross-legged on the floor, quickly regulating his breathing and state, then opened the system interface to begin a new round of draws.

"System bro, let's go—hit me with one!"

Looking at the 520 Dimensional Points he'd accumulated over the past few days, Leo chuckled and began a single draw.

Single pulls bring miracles!

[Congratulations, Host has obtained: Skill Copy Card ×1]

Skill Copy Card – Allows the user to copy any known skill from a target within 100 meters.

"Hehe, looks like Lady Luck is with me today," Leo rubbed his hands together with a grin, his mind immediately turning to Roger. As long as he got a chance to see Roger use something like Conqueror's Haki or Divine Departure, he could take off instantly.

After all, that's power only those at the top of this world possess.

Another draw!

[Congratulations, Host has obtained: Space-Time Ninjutsu – Flying Thunder God Technique!]

"Holy crap! Insane! My system bro, you're amazing!"

Even the usually calm Leo couldn't help but scream in his heart. This was a god-tier round of draws. He proudly declared it his strongest draw session yet!

Compared to Haki (which could be learned through training) and Wood Style (which could be improved through hard work), the appearance of Flying Thunder God Technique was what truly excited him the most.

Space-Time Ninjutsu: Flying Thunder God grants the user the ability to teleport instantly. Once marked by the technique's seal, the marker never disappears. It's a powerful technique useful for offense, evasion, surprise attacks, and retreat. With enough stamina, the user can even teleport massive objects—truly a god-tier ability.

After basking in excitement for a while, Leo used his Wood Style Enhancement Card. As a warm energy flowed through his body, he felt his control over Wood Style grow significantly stronger.

A somewhat powerful little guy. Don't get cocky—there are plenty of people on this sea who could crush you with one hand!

Leo looked at his updated system panel with a satisfied smile. As for the final remark in his profile, he naturally chose to ignore it. After all, he was only ten years old—just a kid. What was the point of being that strong?

Creak—!

Just then, the door to the training room suddenly opened. Lifting his gaze, Leo saw none other than Jabba, dual axes in hand—the third-in-command of the Roger Pirates.

"Yo, Leo, training again, huh?"

Jabba walked straight in. Seeing Leo's sweat-soaked clothes, he felt a growing sense of approval and expectation toward the boy. This kid didn't slack off just because he had a powerful Devil Fruit ability—on the contrary, he trained even harder.

From the moment he boarded the ship, it had been half a month, and Leo hadn't missed a single day. His training had only intensified.

"Yeah, Mr. Jabba. You here to train too?"

Leo raised a hand in greeting, smiling slightly.

"Kid, I see you working hard every day—how about a little sparring match?"

Perhaps suddenly interested, Jabba stared at him for a moment, then asked seriously.

"Really?"

Leo's eyes lit up with a smile. He was eager to test how far he'd come. And if someone like Jabba was willing to be his sparring partner, there was no better opportunity.

After all, not just anyone gets to spar with the third strongest member of the Pirate King's crew.

"Yeah, let's go all out," Jabba nodded, gripping his axes tightly. He was dead serious. Even a lion uses full force when hunting a rabbit—and after witnessing Leo's combat strength earlier, Jabba had no intention of underestimating him. That would be far too embarrassing.

"Hehe—here I come, Mr. Jabba!"

"Wood Style: Cutting Sprigs Jutsu!"

Leo stretched his arms, lowered his small body slightly, then launched forward like a cannonball. When he was about ten meters from Jabba, he suddenly thrust out his arm. Dozens of sharp wooden spikes shot out rapidly, like thorny vines with homing instinct, darting straight at Jabba.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"

Dozens of wooden spikes quickly surrounded Jabba, attacking from all directions. But Jabba was no ordinary fighter—his axes moved as if alive, slashing dozens of times in the span of a second, cutting all the spikes into splinters in an instant.

"Leo, I've seen that move before—it won't work on me," Jabba said as he swung both axes hard, sending out blade-like shockwaves that slashed through the remaining spikes and shot straight at Leo.

"Wood Style: Multiple Wood Pillar Wall!"

"Wood Style: Wooden Wolf Technique!"

Almost instantly, three thick wooden walls rose in front of Leo to shield him. This was Jabba's attack, after all—Leo had to take it seriously.

Two of the walls were destroyed instantly, and the third was left with a deep gash.

Seeing that Leo had successfully blocked his strike, Jabba gave a small smile. Then with a blur, he appeared above Leo, axes raised and ready, confidence in his eyes.

"Roar—!"

Suddenly, a beast-like roar rang out by his ear. Jabba, sensing an intense danger through his Observation Haki, instinctively dodged to the side mid-air. A massive wooden wolf lunged upward with jaws wide open, biting down exactly where he had just been.

"Huff... huff... You brat! You're not playing fair—ambushing your elders like that!"

Jabba landed back on the deck, lips twitching slightly as he looked at Leo. That had been close. Clearly, the kid hadn't used his full strength earlier.

"Hehe, Mr. Jabba, sneak attacks are a valid battle tactic...

Like right now!"

"Wood Style: Four Pillar Prison!"

"Wood Style: Random Spike Barrage!"

Leo clapped his hands together, and thick wooden beams suddenly burst up from the deck, quickly enclosing Jabba in a square-shaped wooden prison. Then, from the wooden walls, dozens of sharp wooden spikes gleaming with cold light began to sprout, aiming straight at him...
