Anthony was nervous. If Camille's position was threatened, his own future would be in danger too.
"No wonder Ro wants to bring her back," Camille muttered and her voice shook angrily. "He wants to win Grandpa's favor."
Years ago, Grandpa had taken her for a paternity test because she looked a bit like Madame Nelsen. Ever since then, he had always doted on her.
She couldn't allow a girl who looked so much like Madame Nelsen to appear in front of Grandpa.
"Before the girl goes back to Carcosa, Ms. Nelsen, we should…" Anthony leaned in and whispered in her ear.
Camille was taken aback. She was utterly baffled and unsure about Anthony's suggestion.
Meanwhile, Rowan was on a call with Daniel.
"Mr. Nelsen, why did you take my daughter?" Daniel asked coldly as he held back his anger.
"Steph was lost. She called me and asked me to pick her up," Rowan said flatly. He didn't like Daniel, especially after hearing what Stephanie told him.
