The amusement park was alive with laughter, music, and the scent of popcorn floating through the warm afternoon air. Sophie and her two friends, Tessy and Anna, darted from one game stall to another, their joy bubbling louder than the crowd itself, they all looked excited.
"Uncle Victor, I want that teddy bear!" Sophie pointed at the huge brown bear dangling from the top shelf of the shooting booth.
Victor smirked as he rolled up his sleeves. "Alright, watch the pro."
He took aim, fired, missed the first shot, and Sophie gasped dramatically.
"Oh no, my teddy!" she held her chest like she'd lost a kingdom.
"Relax," Victor said, refocusing. The second shot hit.
"Yay!" the girls cheered.
Victor handed the bear to Sophie with a teasing grin. "Princess Sophie, your warrior has returned victorious."
Sophie giggled. "You're forgiven for now but you will make up for it later."
