Chapter 35 - CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR

A beaming smile spread across Giovane's face as he looked at the pictures he was gazing at. He couldn't help but burst into laughter at the joy he was feeling now.

"You're doing great, Bern." He even patted the man in his mid-forties.

"You made a promise that my family wouldn't get involved." This will remind him.

"Huh? Did I make a promise to you back then?" He just pondered while hiding the photograph that served as evidence that his two siblings were alive.

He didn't answer; he was the driver who worked at the Dionson mansion. He was the one who picked up and dropped off Chesca.

"So you're confirming that Chesca remembers who she is?" That was the only question he asked the driver.

The driver nodded in response, confirming that what he was saying was correct.

He just smiled.

"Thank you for your hard work." He slowly took his gun.

He immediately fired it at the man. "Ah, by the way, you won't have a home to go back to, because only corpses will greet you." He couldn't help but say.

He saw the shock on his face, unable to speak or protest against what had happened, defenseless; Giovane showered him with bullets.

"Ah, I was just too happy." He said. "Throw that away." He immediately ordered his henchmen.

His companions didn't say a word; they just moved on their own while he was about to return to his vehicle. His phone rang before he started driving.

He only smirked at the message from Charles.

Let the fun game begin… He thought to himself.

He went home to the mansion, where his father would be happy to hear the news. The speed of his car was rapid as he headed towards his destination now. He can't wait to tell his father about it.

Well, there's still a problem, because until now, they still haven't caught who is ruining the business now. He said to himself while driving.

This is still a big puzzle for him.

Well, he's my cousin; what do I expect? Even though he has Roman blood, he has a corrupt mind like us.

Even though Giovane has no proof that his cousin is behind this, he knows his cousin is acting secretly.

Well, who will win this game? He wondered in his mind.

Oh, we're here! He was still delighted in his mind when he saw their mansion.

He was already at the gate, and the housekeeper immediately let him in.

"Where is Dad?" He asked the housekeeper as he got out of his car.

"He's in the garden, sir."

He didn't ask any further questions and immediately went to his father in their vast garden.

He saw his shadow, and immediately his father came into view, sitting and reading the newspaper; beside him were a hot cup of coffee and his phone.

"You're already here, Giovane." He immediately noticed this, looking up when he saw Giovane.

"Yeah." He sat down and admired the beautiful scenery surrounded by blooming, lovely flowers.

"How's the task I asked you to do?" He turned to him then.

He smiled at his father.

"Chesca, my youngest sister, her memory has returned. That's excellent news."

"That's good. What about her foster parents?" This one asked while looking at him intently.

"Oh, don't look at me like that, Dad. That will be news tomorrow, just as you want it to be."

"I anticipate a great deal from you, Giovane; if your sisters are not imbeciles, they are still present, amusing themselves under my watch." He said.

"So, what's your plan concerning my two sisters?" he asked.

"That Mikaela is still alive," he even saw him smile. "Well, it's really difficult to kill a wild weed." He even said to him.

"Yeah, what's your next plan?" He asked.

"May the two come back here; I know they are also searching for it."

"I will use this as a lure to draw them back to the mansion, and I will ensure that those two never see daylight again."

"Ah, your anger toward my two siblings is really intense." He couldn't help but say.

"And your annoying cousin?" He asked him.

"That's the bad news; I still can't get any proof from that man." He just sighed.

"Well, don't mind him. Have you established a connection with the individual involved with Fernan?"

"Fernan? Hmm? I forgot, Dad. With so many things to worry about in that warehouse, I forgot who was involved with him and who was with him in the organization."

"Where is your right hand??" He asked him.

That's just how his father is; he has many questions for him when he's here in the mansion because he plans everything carefully; that's how he plans what he will do.

"Don't worry about him; he's under control, Charles. Well, I give him a task to manipulate Mikaela." He replied.

"I have a bad feeling about that, Charles. Be careful with the information you pass on to him. My skin is crawling; it's a warning that he's working under the shadow." This is a warning for him.

He tapped his father then; he was already too sensitive to his surroundings because they had many enemies in the law, but they still managed to get through it.

"Don't think too much, Dad. If he gives me a hint that he's not good enough, I'll be the one to take care of him."

His father didn't respond at that moment, instead glancing around.

"Keep an eye on our warehouse; there could be a snake infestation." He couldn't help but say.

"Yeah, that's my plan, Dad." He couldn't help but say it.

He nodded in agreement.

"I just have a few other things to take care of." His father said.

"Take time, Dad. I will take care of the rest."

He was about to go back to his car; he needed to go to the warehouse; many were calling him again, but his phone was on silent.

His partners are calling again.

Really, people are just people. Greedy, selfish, and self-centered.

He immediately got on. Despite being very busy, he still couldn't figure out who the man involved with Fernan back then was.

He needs to dig deeper to find out who Fernan really is; killing his siblings is not enough.

I will kill them if I find out the truth; I will kill them without mercy.
