Ankit and Maya were in the jungle together. Maya wanted to train him, how to hunt animals to quench their thirst. They were walking in the jungle. Suddenly, Ankit looked at the sky and said, "Wow the sky looks beautiful! Look at the stars Maya. They are so beautiful!" Maya looked at the sky and remembered the night, Rehaan told her that he felt his father had become a star and was watching him from there. Or maybe he is somewhere near him. Maya felt uncomfortable looking at the stars. She asked Ankit to follow her.
Both of them sat on a branch of a tree. Maya asked Ankit to keep quiet and concentrate. Both of them were waiting for a prey. Suddenly they heard something. They became alert. An animal was walking under the tree. It was a wolf! Before Maya could say anything, Ankit jumped on the wolf! The wolf in its defense, scratched Ankit's face. Maya got down and helped Ankit get up, who was now lying on the ground, injured. Maya pushed the wolf who flew several feet away, and asked Ankit to run. The wolf again tried to attack Maya and Ankit, when Rehaan came between them and asked the wolf to stop and go from there. The wolf went away.
Rehaan turned towards Maya. Maya was surprised, to see Rehaan there.
Maya "Thank you Rehaan for helping us."
Rehaan "I wasn't helping you two. I was protecting that wolf from you. Ask your friend to stay away from my people, or else nobody will come to save him next time."
Rehaan left from there after warning Maya. Both Ankit and Maya left the jungle.
Maya was driving the car with Ankit sitting beside her. Ankit was annoyed as he couldn't handle the wolf himself, and Rehaan came to his rescue.
Ankit "Maya, why didn't you kill that wolf? You are way stronger than any werewolf right?"
Maya "I don't want to kill anyone, and worsen the situation. You shouldn't have jumped on the wolf like that. You must have thought, it could be a werewolf and not any ordinary wolf. Anyway, I've never asked you to drink a wolf's blood. Then why did you do that?"
Ankit "I'm sorry. I wouldn't make this mistake again."
Maya "I hope so."
They reached outside Ankit's house. Ankit got out of the car and asked Maya to come to his house, but she refused as it was late. Ankit started walking towards his house, and Maya drove away.
Ankit rang the doorbell and his Grandma opened the door. She was angry as Ankit had come home late. Ankit entered the house and was about to go straight to his room when his Grandpa scolded him for coming home late and not even informing them that he would come late. He asked him several questions about where he was and what was he doing, and Ankit got annoyed and rudely asked his grandparents, to stay out of his life. He went to his room angrily. His grandparents were hurt and concerned about his changed behavior.
In the jungle, a woman was standing alone. Rehaan came behind her and called her. She turned back and looked at Rehaan with disappointment.
Rehaan "Naina, why did you do it? I know you intentionally went near those vampires. What were you trying to do?"
Naina "I wanted to see what those vampires would do when they see me. And as I expected, that guy attacked me."
Rehaan "Do you know, that vampire girl is Maya? She is a born vampire and the vampire king and queen's daughter. She is very powerful. She could have killed you."
Naina "When you came between us, I listened to you because you are our queen's son. But why did she stop? Why didn't she attack you?"
Rehaan "Maybe she doesn't want war."
Naina "Rehaan, I've known you for five years. I know what you feel for that girl. As a friend, I want to tell you something, a vampire and a werewolf can never unite. And this rivalry would never end. So if you are thinking that one day, you would be able to end this enmity, and Maya and you.... "
Rehaan "Stop it! What is all this you are saying? I was not trying to protect her or that Ankit. I don't even care for him anymore. I was trying to protect you from her. Please don't provoke those vampires. I don't wish to lose a friend like you."
Rehaan left from there. Naina knew that Rehaan was lying to her and he was still in love with Maya.
Maya returned home and informed her parents what happened in the jungle that night.
Rajveer "I knew that Ankit would get us in trouble. That boy is so impulsive. He feels he is the strongest vampire, and could conquer the whole world. It was my mistake, to turn him into a vampire."
Nisha "Rajveer is right Maya. Ankit's carelessness would make things more difficult for us."
Maya "I tried to make him understand. I hope he won't make such mistakes in the future."
Rajveer "We have to stop this! We have to end this war. If we don't do anything, our people will turn against us."
Nisha "What should we do now?"
Maya "I think we should end this enmity. We should at least once, try to make peace with them."
Nisha "No, we can't do that. If we try to do it, they would feel we are weak."
Maya "Is our pride bigger than our people's lives? Would we feel good after killing the werewolves? Nature has made us what we are. But it is us who started this enmity. Only we two creatures, would be able to end this."
Rajveer "If you feel you could end this enmity and try to make peace, go ahead. I won't stop you. Talk to Rehaan and his mother and see what they do. If they also wish peace, we would end this too."
Maya said she would try once and see what happens next. Rajveer and Nisha both nodded their heads, giving her their permission to do so.
