A month later.
"[Training Module System] Complete!" Nash laughed happily, seeing his month-long work come to fruition.
Knowing he could overdrive his body to absorb void crystals, Nash quickly worked on the corresponding module to enhance its efficiency.
Although the [Control Module System] he created could also overdrive his body, the results were inconsistent and inefficient.
The void crystal's energy would be absorbed into whatever part of the body was overloaded.
However, whether running, weight training, calisthenics, or martial arts, a single routine couldn't activate all parts of his body.
As for doing multiple exercises to target different parts of his body, by the time he finished one routine, doing another would destroy the part of his body that had already been overloaded.
With no other choice, Nash created a brand-new [Training Module System] that equally targeted all parts of his body, from his muscles, bones, and organs.
"Time to test it~" Nash whistled as he made his way to an abandoned factory a few miles away.
His house was too small for any vigorous movement.
There was also the noise to consider.
One time, when he trained in a room, he either damaged the walls because of faulty runic programming in the module system, or the noise was too loud, making his neighbors wonder.
Not having enough money to rent a bigger place, Nash can only find an unwanted location to experiment.
Going through a hidden entrance he had made, he entered the abandoned factory.
This abandoned property was hidden and barely had traces of people passing by.
After he had enough money, Nash planned to buy and renovate this place.
Unfortunately, he only had over 100k arls, much less to renovate the place; he would be out of food in the months to come.
As he walked lazily inside, he suddenly heard heavy breathing.
"How could this be?" Nash thought, puzzled.
The factory was monitored by hidden camera probes; if someone entered, his phone would prompt a warning.
Crouching behind the counter to investigate, Nash saw the intruder through his hidden cameras.
The intruder was a blond-haired youth with a noble temperament, covered in cuts and bruises all over his body. If not for the rise and fall of his chest, one would think he was a corpse.
What worried Nash was the intruder's crimson-red eyes.
A human's red eyes and an Arleanian's red eyes are different.
If one looked at them side by side, one would look dull while the other was burning with vitality.
Their eyes were like gems, a marvel to behold.
"Who are you? Are you the owner of this place?" the intruder, Elias, asked coldly, clearly noticing him.
Knowing he was discovered, Nash was not shocked.
Although his hiding spot was perfect, his mere presence gave him away.
A transcendent's senses are beyond those of a mortal; the breathing, the heartbeat, even the flow of life can be detected if they are strong enough.
Unless Nash could program a module system to partially eliminate or hide his life signs, hiding from a transcendent is impossible.
With a tense body fully alert, he answered Elias' question, "I'm not the owner of this place. I just came here to train."
"It doesn't matter. Get me a mid-tier healing potion."
"Can't you just order one? The delivery should be much faster," Nash suggested.
What a joke, he could barely afford a low-grade healing potion, let alone a mid-grade one.
A low-grade healing potion could heal most transcendent injuries and costs 100k arls.
A mid-grade healing potion, on the other hand, could heal more serious injuries, even a Void Warrior, but costs over a million arls.
Seeing Elias' empty pockets, Nash was sure he had no money.
Just as Nash was about to back away and leave this dangerous place, Elias suddenly dashed and tried to slap him in the face.
Unable to dodge the attack, Nash raised his arms to block.
Unfortunately, the slap was too powerful, sending him rolling to the ground.
"I don't need you to tell me what to do. Know your place, human," Elias said, looking at him coldly.
"Damn!" Nash cursed under his breath, feeling pain in his arms.
Fortunately, his body was already at a 1 percent saturation rate.
Although he was only a little stronger than ordinary people, his body could withstand some beating.
"Now, stand up and bring me some healing potion," Elias commanded, walking back to the corner.
"You wish!" In anger, Nash sprang from the ground, punching Elias behind the head.
"Foolish!" Noticing Nash's movement, Elias tried to dodge.
Unfortunately for Elias, Nash's fist was like a tracker, striking squarely at the back of his head.
Thud~
Bowing from the impact, Elias's anger exploded.
"How dare you hit me!" Turning back in fury, Elias brandished his hand, punching Nash in the face.
"Predictable~," Nash said coldly, slightly tilting his head.
Earlier, because of his unpreparedness, Elias was able to hit him.
Now entering full concentration, Nash's brain began to process all of Elias's details, from his breathing, form, eyes, and emotions.
His brain then compared and deciphered Elias's movements, simulating the future in his mind.
No matter how fast his opponent was, if he could see the future, he could evade anything by a hair's breadth.
Seeing him dodge, Elias thought he was careless and began using his speed and strength to his advantage.
However, no matter how he attacked, Nash seemed to be able to predict his intention, dodging in advance.
"What's wrong? Are you targeting my shadow?" Nash mocked.
Although Elias was fast, his target was too obvious.
Relying only upon strength, Elias's attack was like a child randomly swinging a hammer.
No matter how strong, in the eyes of an adult, it was a mere child playing.
"Slippery snake! A human like you can't compare to me!"
Raising his arms, Elias lunged at Nash's face.
Seeing the hand emitting waves of black energy, Nash's pupils dilated as he braced himself to block.
Bang~
Flying out from the ground, Nash felt his hand falling apart.
"Astral Void Art!" Nash thought, horrified, as he looked at Elias.
