Dragging Nash to the city's periphery, they arrived at a combat hall.
Inside was high-tech training equipment he had seen on the internet: Neuro Reflex Chamber, Gravity Chamber, Nano Healing Pod, Sparring Bots, Complex Agility Course, and more.
Looking around, Nash felt excited as his blood pumped with anticipation.
If not for Camilla, he would have wanted to try each machine one by one.
"How is it? Amazing, right?" Camilla said proudly.
"How did you get this?" Nash asked, eager to buy some for his place.
His villa only had some outdated training equipment that he barely used.
Nash was sure his progress would be 2-3 times faster if he had these equipments.
"This was bought from off the planet... How about it? Interested now?" Camilla said temptingly.
Frowning, Nash felt undecided.
Although he knew his progress would be faster, joining Camilla meant facing more danger.
"Hmph! We're here! Wear this!" Camilla said coldly, throwing him a combat suit.
The combat suit could monitor the user's health parameters and harden once in contact with a high kinetic energy that would cause severe injury.
Nash had heard that a high-level combat suit could even enhance the user's combat abilities.
"What is this for?" Nash asked reluctantly as he put on the suit.
"If you can't decide, then let our fists do the talking. I see that you're embarking on the path of transcendence, so this should not be a problem," Camilla said with a slight smile.
Nash hadn't learned any concealing techniques, so, to a Void Warrior, he was like a light bulb emitting Void energy all over his body.
"Fight?" Nash muttered doubtfully, looking at Camilla as if she were trying to fool him.
He was only at 2 percent saturation rate; knowing Camilla had a 10 percent saturation rate and was an official Void Warrior, Nash knew he had no chance of winning.
The more Void energy he had in his body, the slower his progress had become.
Even with the [Training Module System] and sufficient resources, he had only reached 2 percent saturation rate in over a month.
"Don't worry, I won't use my power; I'll match your strength," Camilla said seriously.
"Then what's in it for me? You've been quite persistent, stalking me and dragging me around whenever you see me," Nash muttered with a hint of complaint.
"What did you say? Can you repeat that?" Camilla shot him a cold look, not liking his tone.
"I said, what do I get from winning?" Nash repeated.
"Hmph! If you can defeat me, I'll give you a basic Void training manual, and I'll never intentionally look for you again," Camilla snorted, coming to a compromise.
Camilla invited Nash to this fight to bind him willingly.
If she continued to be willful, forcefully dragging Nash whenever she saw him, he would only get farther and farther away.
"Then I have no other choice..." Nash sighed, clenching his fists.
"Are you ready?" Camilla asked with a smirk.
This stubborn boy was like a rock who couldn't appreciate beauty and would run whenever he saw her.
Wanting to conquer such an anomaly, Camilla went all out.
"Hmm," Nash nodded, inching closer until he was a foot away from Camilla.
"Oh, do you want to use your beauty to trick me?" Camilla said, feeling Nash's breath.
Without answering, Nash lunged his elbow at Camilla's stomach.
"Too slow," dodging to the side, Camilla jeered at Nash's attack.
However, before she could think further, the view in her eyes changed to the ceiling.
Thud~
Tripping Camilla to the ground with a feint and a leg sweep, Nash backed away a little.
"You little imp!" Camilla cursed, feeling a slight ache in her back.
"Did I win?" Nash asked.
"Of course not; I can still stand!" Camilla said forcefully.
"Then how can a win be decided?"
"When either one of us admits defeat," Camilla said mischievously, trying to kick Nash in the shoulder.
Seeing her intention, Nash turned slightly, pushing Camilla's kick, giving it more power as she tumbled out of balance.
"How can you be so skilled at this?" Camilla asked angrily.
She felt that she couldn't defeat Nash if she didn't use her full power.
"Just give up; your moves are too tender. You should be proficient in mid-range combat, not in this face-to-face combat," Nash said, analyzing Camilla's movement pattern.
The range, gait, eyes, and movement of her feet made it evident that Camilla was not used to such a close range of combat.
"Hmph! I'm just careless!" Camilla said, standing up.
This time, she looked cautiously as Nash inched closer.
Preparing for another sneak attack, she saw Nash's palm approaching her face.
Knowing it was a feint, she concentrated, waiting for another kick from Nash.
Slap~
Too focused on reading Nash, the palm heading toward her face landed squarely on the target.
"Damn this!"
Under such humiliation, Camilla felt anger as she brandished her strength to give Nash a payback.
"Can't hold it anymore, huh?" Nash thought, seeing Camilla lunging at him.
Dodging her attack, Nash was about to counter when he saw Camilla's foot flying from the side.
"Danger~," With that thought passing through his brain, he spread his arms, cushioning Camilla's kick.
Bang~
Flying through the air, Nash felt as if his body was about to break.
This seemed much stronger than the attack he received from Elias.
Remembering Elias was already battered and injured when he attacked him, Nash felt his luck had been overflowing at that time.
Groaning in pain, Nash raised both of his arms to surrender.
"You cheated! You said you wouldn't use your strength!" Nash quickly complained.
"Did I? I don't remember saying anything of that matter!" Camilla snorted, looking a little worried about Nash.
That was almost a full-power attack; if it had been an ordinary individual, their innards would have already been displaced.
Fortunately, seeing Nash still able to complain, it seemed the combat suit activated in time.
"Anyway, from now on, you'll be a member of the Crimson Phoenix Squad. Don't even think about running away; I already know your full details..."
