Note:
The main story begins after Chapter 5, but if you truly want to understand the characters—and if you're an action lover—I highly recommend starting from the beginning. This is where you'll witness Aslan's past life as Rex-his pain, his struggles, and the raw intensity of his battles.
Night falls over Starwyn City.
The skyline glows under a sea of lights. Streets buzz with life. Towers shimmer in neon. But atop a silent rooftop—one man sits alone.
A black hoodie drapes his figure. A half-mask conceals his face. Fingerless gloves grip his knees as he stares into the starless sky.
There's sadness in his eyes. A storm behind the silence. Then—his voice echoes within, calm… yet broken.
My name is Rex Walker.
Among the countless hunters that walk this earth, only nine have awakened as elementalists—and I am one of them. But unlike the others, I am the only one who can wield more than two elements.
An anomaly.
A force even the world itself can't explain.
They call me an SSS-rank hunter…
But even that title falls short of what I truly am.
I used to believe that becoming an SSS-rank hunter would finally make my life a little better. That maybe—just maybe—the pain would ease.
But then… that incident happened.

Starwyn City, Year 2035
The day began like any other—sunlight broke through the towering steel of Starwyn City, neon signs blinked lazily, and the streets buzzed with life.
Then it happened.
Suddenly, the sky began to tear open.
Without warning, every screen across the city flickered red. Weather updates vanished. Advertisements disappeared. A single, flashing banner appeared:
BREAKING NEWS
The city held its breath.
"This is an emergency alert," the anchor's voice trembled. "A high-level portal has opened just outside Starwyn City. It is not classified. It is beyond classification."
The feed switched to shaky aerial footage.
A rift had split open in the sky—swirling, unstable, violent. Purple light bled from its core, crackling with black lightning. Massive. Terrifying. Unseen before.
And from it… something stepped out.
A monster.
Taller than skyscrapers.
Its eyes burned with an ancient, inhuman fury.
"An SSS-rank monster… has crossed over," the anchor whispered. "And it's not alone. More are coming."
Panic erupted.
But amidst the chaos, one figure remained still—watching.
The age of peace had ended.
The war for survival… had begun.
