The next morning Zhang Ming knocked on Arwen door. She opened the door her hair was messy she was wearing a silk pj she looked up.
"Lady Arwen."
"Huh?"
"General Ye got you a green house where you can do your work," Zhang Ming said.
"Thank you Butler Zhang," Arwen said as she turned around she went to the bathroom changed her clothes she walked out and she looked at Zhang Ming who nodded his head.
"Let me show where your greenhouse is," Zhang Ming said.
Arwen followed Zhang Ming through the sprawling mansion, her mind racing with possibilities. A greenhouse, huh? She wondered what Ye Shufen's true intentions were. Was this a genuine gesture, or just another way to control her?
As they walked, Arwen couldn't help but admire the opulence of her surroundings. The mansion was a testament to Ye Shufen's wealth and power, with its ornate furnishings, marble floors, and sprawling gardens. It was a far cry from the simple, modest life she had known before.
Finally, they reached a large, glass structure nestled in the midst of a lush, wellmanicured garden. Zhang Ming pushed open the door, revealing a stunning greenhouse filled with an array of exotic plants and flowers.
"This is your workspace, Lady Arwen," he said, gesturing to the room.
Arwen stepped inside, her eyes widening as she took in the sights and smells of the greenhouse. It was like stepping into a different world a lush, verdant paradise amidst the cold, sterile walls of the mansion. She walked slowly through the aisles, her fingers trailing gently over the leaves and petals of the various plants.
"This is... beautiful," she murmured, her voice filled with wonder.
Zhang Ming nodded, a hint of pride in his eyes.
"The general had it specially designed for you, Lady Arwen. He wants you to be comfortable and happy here."
Arwen's heart sank at the mention of Ye Shufen. This greenhouse, as lovely as it was, felt more like a gilded cage than a gift. A pretty prison, designed to keep her entertained and distracted while she remained trapped.
"I'm sure it will do nicely," she said, forcing a smile.
She turned to Zhang Ming, her mind already racing with plans.
"I'll need some supplies beakers, test tubes, a microscope, that sort of thing. Can you arrange that for me?"
Zhang Ming bowed his head, understanding her request.
Arwen sat down and she spun around she was wearing a blue summer dress she looked at the bright blue sky and she closed her eyes. Her phone buzzed it was Xiao Mang.
Xiao Mang: Baby are you okay!
Arwen: Yes 👍
Xiao Mang: Good good! 😊 but honey you must hear this your cousin stole your boyfriend! So angry!
Arwen: his an ex we broke up a year ago no worries at all, he doesn't care for me anymore ever since he moved to China to live with my cousin plus his family is also in China.
Xiao Mang: Fuck that shit! So angry so angry baby want to beat that bitch Rose Winslow up!
Arwen: No need for that
Arwen posted a selfie of herself in the greenhouse
Arwen: Just looking around
Arwen spent the next few hours exploring the greenhouse, marveling at the diverse array of flora that surrounded her. She carefully tended to the plants, her fingers gentle and precise as she watered and pruned. It was a welcome distraction from the chaos of her life, a moment of peace amidst the storm.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm, golden glow over the greenhouse, Arwen heard the door creak open. She turned to see Ye Shufen standing in the doorway, his tall frame silhouetted against the fading light.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, her voice tinged with suspicion.
Ye Shufen stepped inside, his eyes scanning the greenhouse with approval.
"I came to check on you," he said, his tone softer than usual.
"I wanted to ensure that you have everything you need."
Arwen raised an eyebrow, skeptical of his sudden concern.
"And what about what I want?" she challenged, crossing her arms over her chest.
Ye Shufen's expression hardened, a flicker of irritation in his eyes.
"What you want is irrelevant, Arwen. You belong to me, and I will provide for you."
He took a step closer, his gaze intense.
Arwen stepped backwards. As she was against the wall she felt sharp pain from Ye Shufen teeth marks he sealed Arwen lips with his and pinned her arms above her head.
"Remember you belong to me, what I give you can be easily taken away," he said and he walked away and Arwen fall on the ground this asshole he really knows how to hunt someone.
Arwen gasped for breath, her heart racing as she watched Ye Shufen's retreating back. She touched her lips, feeling the sting of his bite and the lingering warmth of his kiss. Tears of frustration and humiliation burned in her eyes, but she blinked them back, refusing to let him see her cry.
She slowly stood up, her legs shaking slightly. She looked around the greenhouse, taking in the beauty of the plants that surrounded her. But now, the once peaceful sanctuary felt tainted by Ye Shufen's presence, his possessive words echoing in her mind.
Arwen clenched her fists, a surge of determination rising within her. She would not be broken, would not be owned. She would find a way out of this nightmare, no matter what it took.
With a deep breath, she turned and walked out of the greenhouse, her mind already racing with plans and possibilities. She had a feeling that her time in this mansion was running out, and she needed to be ready for whatever came next.
As she ran a roaring sound came out and Arwen screamed when a tiger jumped out and Arwen jumped in the air as she ran and fall on the ground.
"Snowball!" Ye Shufen said coldly his eyes landed on his wild animal pet. Ye Shufen has a hobby on taking on wild animals as pets and they are many that's one reason he leaves in the forest his base so that those animals can run freely he owns much of the land.
"Arwen," he said coldly and grabbed her chin. Arwen felt humiliated even more but she glared at Ye Shufen.
"Ye Shufen you see the worst!" Arwen shouted and shoved him away and she ran back to the mansion and she slammed the door as she gasped and walked to her room. Poor officers all suffered in Ye Shufen training.
