Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 {Elite Squard}

Ye Shufen watched Arwen run away, a mix of annoyance and amusement flickering across his face. He turned his attention back to Snowball, the tiger, who was now calmly sitting at his feet.

"Tch, foolish girl," he muttered, shaking his head.

He whistled, and Snowball followed him back into the mansion. As he walked, his mind wandered back to Arwen. She was a stubborn one, he'd give her that. But he was patient, and he always got what he wanted in the end.

He entered his study, pouring himself a glass of whiskey. He took a sip, savoring the burn as it slid down his throat. He had plans for Arwen, big plans. And he wouldn't let her little tantrums deter him.

Ye Shufen went to the training ground.

He surveyed the scene before him, his eyes narrowing as he took in the exhausted, sweatdrenched faces of his officers. They were sprawled out on the ground, their breaths coming in ragged gasps. It was a familiar sight, one that filled him with a twisted sense of pride.

"You disappoint me," he said, his voice echoing through the courtyard.

"Get up. We're not finished yet."

A few officers groaned, their muscles protesting the command. But they knew better than to disobey. Slowly, they dragged themselves to their feet, their eyes downcast and their bodies trembling.

Ye Shufen smirked, satisfied with their compliance.

"Today one of you will fight me," Ye Shufen said and all of them groaned they found out every time Lady Arwen and Ye Shufen fight Ye Shufen used them as punching bags so they all try not be in his line of sight.

"New comers you joined our squad Knight Owl come up and explain them our squad and the eight levels after that come and fight me," Ye Shufen said as Wu Dong brought a chair over for Ye Shufen to seat in and he sat down. His pet sat there was well and the new comers shivered but were quiet as Knight Owl which is his nickname stepped forward.

Knight Owl, a tall, muscular man with a scar running down his cheek, stepped forward. He bowed respectfully to Ye Shufen before turning to address the new recruits.

"Listen up, maggots," he barked, his voice harsh and commanding.

"You're part of the Knight Owl Squad now. We're the best of the best, and we answer only to General Ye. Our job is to protect him and carry out his orders, no matter what they may be."

He paused, letting his words sink in. The recruits nodded, their eyes wide and eager to please.

"There are eight levels in our squad," he continued.

"Each one harder than the last. Knight Owl Squad is the lost squad and the highest squad is the Red Crimson Blood Moon these are the best of the best the other level climb up to the highest level. Anyway then there is the Black Roses these people truly are the best squad all of the nation. Two members of these group are actually here today," Zong said as he nodded his head.

A redhead man appeared his aura was so strong and another one appeared but this person wore a full white mask that had a symbol of space on it. The red man with a mask that covered half of his face was from the the Red Crimson Blood Moon squad and the other person was from Black Roses these people. From Knight owl to Black Roses Ye Shufen was the founder of them. Ye Shufen didn't even pay attention to them at all it showed that these two are strong but in his eyes they can be stronger.

"Explain what each of your squad do," Zong said. SK from the Red Crimson Blood Moon squad stepped forward first.

SK, the redhaired man from the Red Crimson Blood Moon squad, stepped forward. His piercing gaze swept over the recruits, his presence commanding attention.

"The Red Crimson Blood Moon is the elite special forces unit of the Chinese military," he said, his voice low and steady.

"We specialize in covert operations, assassinations, and highrisk missions. We're the best of the best, trained to operate in the shadows and strike without mercy."

He paused, letting his words sink in. The recruits listened intently, a mix of fear and admiration in their eyes.

"Our motto is 'Silent and Deadly.' We move unseen, and our enemies never know what hit them until it's too late."

SK stepped back, nodding to the masked figure from the Black Roses squad.

"Now, let's hear from our colleague here."

The masked figure stepped forward, his white mask gleaming in the sunlight. He spoke, his voice distorted by the mask.

"The Black Roses are different," he said, his tone enigmatic.

"We operate outside the boundaries of conventional warfare. We're the ones sent in when all else fails, when the situation is too delicate, too dangerous for ordinary soldiers."

Ye Shufen listened with half an ear, his attention drifting to the memories of his past. He had founded these squads, molded them into the formidable forces they were today. But sometimes, he wondered if they were still enough, still strong enough to satisfy his ambition.

His gaze flicked back to the recruits, a cruel smile twisting his lips. They were so eager, so willing to please. It was almost... boring.

"Enough talk," he said, his voice cutting through the air like a knife.

"It's time for the real test. I want to see what you're made of."

He stood, his tall frame towering over the recruits. His pet tiger, Snowball, rose beside him, a low growl rumbling in its throat.

"You will face me, one by one. Show me your strength, your skill. Actually never find all of you are useless, SK, Spade you guys do the training," Ye Shufen said he had to go to Hong Kong for a business trip.

SK and Spade exchanged glances, a silent understanding passing between them. They knew what was expected, the brutal training that awaited these recruits. It was a test of endurance, of will, of sheer determination.

As Ye Shufen walked away, the recruits huddled together, their faces etched with a mix of fear and anticipation. SK and Spade approached them, their expressions stern and unyielding.

"You heard the general," SK said, his voice cold and commanding.

"This is your chance to prove your worth. But be warned, not all of you will make it through."

Spade stepped forward, his masked face unreadable.

"We'll be watching. And we'll be judging. So give it your all, or don't bother showing up at all."

With that, they turned and left, leaving the recruits to their fate. The courtyard fell silent, the weight of the impending challenge hanging heavy in the air.

And so, the training began, a brutal and unforgiving test of skill and endurance.
